We ate here on an Friday, but before the rush. As others have said the place is small with no real ambiance. The food is delicious!!!. Prices are very reasonable. You order at the counter and prepay for your food. Eat in food arrives on paper plates and you have only plastic forks and knives. Real flatware would be nice.

We ate here on their 15 year anniversary and it was as delicious as the first many times we dined here. If you want a real tour of Mexican cuisine from The north to the eastern Yucatán, to the pacific, many culinary regions are represented well here. My favorites are the chile relleno on the appetizer menu filled with meats, almonds and raisins and the cauliflower roasted with pepitas and green chilis. The spicy margaritas are another delicious addition to the menu.

So surprised at this little restaurant that could! It's in an unassuming strip next to a plaid pantry. There's seating for about 30 - it's intimate, very friendly and authentic. This is my go to with friends and family- casual atmosphere and kid friendly with loads of options- almost too many to choose from. The prices are reasonable and the margaritas are yummy! Can get crowded around lunchtime. If your looking for a fun casual night- this is for you!Wonderful, we love to hear from customers.Thank you so much for your feedback.

I'm on the constant lookout for authentic Mexican food like my family's, and although this isn't the place it has some fun things on the menu. Service when I've been the past two visits has been far from the best. It's a great little spot, just wish there was better treatment.

Jefe

WantEd to celebrate national taco day - We have passed jefe's restaurant on numerous occasions so today decided to give it a try . Ordered pAsCadErO-cArniTas & carNe asaDa Tacos. The tacos were 3 bite tacos priced from 3.75-5.00. The carne asada taco consisted primarily of cabbage and a very light dusting of cojita cheese there was practically no meat on the taco whatsoever-the carnitas taco was extremely overcooked dry pork -and the fish tacos were so overdressed in sauce it dominated all the other flavor profiles. The RESTAURANT reviews are very misleading as this is not at all upscale MEXICAN cuisine. The food delivered TO our table was not prepared for discriminating diners whom expect a quality product commensurate with the prices chaged for goods and services. Totally unimpressed. Actually stopped @ZUPAN'S market bought some fish. Made fish taco for dinner and Must say they were far superior to the one'served @jefe's this afternoon for lunch ......Will not return?.. maybe the cooks need some in service training.....

This is a good find as it is not easy to get good Mexican food in the area. The chips and two salsas were great. I had the Taco Salad with beef and it was the best I have had in the area so far. My spicy Margarita was crafted well and I will have it again sometime. The decor could be updated a little but honestly it didn't matter. Service was fantastic and the overall experience was great. There was ample parking but we went early for dinner so I am guessing the lot fills up quickly during peak times.
