We come here for special occasions as well as for regular dining. The food is delicious and prepared while you wait. Saturday nights there is usually entertainment. The wait staff is professional and accommodating and make you feel welcome. They always check to see if everything is prepared to your satisfaction. They make a spectacular margarita as well as other drinks. They remember their regulars and their likes and dislikes. I drive a school bus and very often I pass this restaurant while on a school field trip or sports trip. I always point it out to the teachers or coaches and tell them that if they want real authentic Mexican and Spanish food they should stop in and try this restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate this a 20.

Isabel, my wife, and I were in the area for just one night in order to attend a funeral the following morning. Tired from our travels we decided to skip the family gathering and just check-in to our hotel, get some food and call it a night. Following my typical research protocol, I launched Yelp and began searching for something good to eat in the area..Vallarta is Mexican which we both really enjoy, had a good rating, a good number of reviews, and was just over a mile away, so off we went. .When we arrived, I was a bit put off by the fact that there was only one group of about eight eating and all of the other tables were empty. As we ordered the cook was looking over the cahiers shoulder and walked off to start making our food even before it was paid for. Isabel has a chicken quesadilla and I had a pork burrito. The food came out super quick, freshly made and steaming hot. .As we began to enjoy our meals the restaurant starting filling-up with families taking tables and other customers taking a bag or two to go. It seemed like we just barely beat that rush in the door, and I was very happy to see that so many of the locals agreed with my choice..This is a simple place where you order at the register before you sit down. People come here for the food. This is not about the experience, décor, tableside service or any of that fancy stuff. This is about the food, and the food does not disappoint.

I went to Chipotle around 6:45 on a Sunday night. For once, I walked in and there wasn't a line out the door. As I walked up to order, I was told, sorry, I couldn't order, despite the fact that there was food to be served. I was told that they were having their holiday party. Why on earth would the doors be left open if they were not open for business? I have been to this Chipotle before and this is my last time to go there. The wait is always insane. It doesn't seem to be managed very well.

Nothing to inviting from the outside as it sits in a strip mall but steadily climbed in rating when you walked in the door!Food was excellent, drinks were great and the live table entertainment was a pleasant surprise!

My husband and I had wanted to enjoy dinner at Maria's several times and just couldn't get in. I finally did when I scheduled lunch instead with a girlfriend. Food was terrific, nicely presented; service was attentive, the room was relaxed (although I can't speak for the dinner hour) and attractive. Hope to get back for dinner with my husband!
