If you are looking for a local authentic Mexican food restaurant in town, you have found it. At Raul's Family Mexican Restaurant we make sure are food is fresh as if you were eating at your own casa. Come and enjoy a good Mexican meal close to home.
From entrance to exit a Class Act. The restaurant is small with table seating, clean, and average to low sound level. The staff is very welcoming with excellent service. The food is very tasty and fresh and the food portions are more than adequate. For those that choose dinner drinks--they are well made.

Two years later, after my last review of Lupe's, they didn't change a thing! Some times a good thing, but not in the case of the chips that come to the table. The salsa is still a thick red sauce, with a little kick to it. But when you grab up a chip, the disappointment comes really fast. "These are thick and cold. They do offer a bit of snap when you eat them but it is very much like eating a saltine that has been sitting around for a week absorbing everything in the air. The second basket brought to the table was the same thing so essentially the meal starts a down hill slide before you order arrives. The best Mexican places we have eaten at bring you HOT chips and they are more like a potato chip than a thick cold cracker. I'm pretty sure they have a warming oven and could purchase a better brand of chips."Nothing changed. The rest of the food thank goodness was pretty good despite the poor chips offering. The Margarita was on the weak side, most likely having been an alcohol and mix concoction out of a large container. Portion sizes were very good and pricing was in the "expected" range.Be aware this is a small business, and they prefer cash at the cash register. My bill was over $70 for 4 people plus drinks so they did accept a card for that. You could be embarrassed here on a lesser tab and they demanding cash. I will say, they didn't make any issue of paying by card this year, so maybe that is the extent of the improvements. The cook I saw from the cash register location appeared to be Asian. The only Mexican was the bus boy (man) who has English as a second language. The restaurant is not terribly authentic "Mexican" and it isn't really a standard American restaurant either. Sort of a blended mishmash of both. At least our guests enjoyed the dinner...

This is a nice Mexican themed restaurant with a menu that features many selections some of which aren't generally seen on a more "traditional" Mexican-American menu like chamorro, albondigas and guajolote to name a few. They have a nice cocktail menu plus beers, wines, tequilas and mezcals. The service was friendly, prompt and helpful. The food arrived quickly after ordering it and was nicely presented and tasty. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. My wife found here carnitas were a little fattier than she liked but were still good. We will return to try some of the other offerings.

This is a good restaurant. There is good variety on the menu. Their are a good variety of options to choose from. The wait staff are very nice. There are a variety of styles of "mexican" food. This one is a little different from what I am used to in my state. Nevertheless, it was very good and well worth giving it a try.

There were a lot of people here and we got the last table.Warning, the salsa is super hot and they donât give you an option for a more mild version, too bad, itâs a waste when you canât eat it.The food was good but my husband said his was cold. They arenât very organized there, have more than one person waiting your table. Heard someone say the margaritas were excellent and hope to try one next time !
