Look no further for excellent Italian. Needing a break from German food, this is an excellent choice for Italian in Rothenburg. It was so good we came back the next evening. Huge glasses of wine, freshly made pasta (delicious bolognese) and wonderful margarita pizza. Staff is friendly and efficient. This place is filled with locals - which is an excellent indicator of its excellence!

Our family (my wife and 4 kids) love to find great restaurants and we stumbled on this one and were lucky enough to get a table. The service was very good and we all ordered a different entree and everyone was very happy with their Dinner. I strongly recommend this place for a great meal with a fun upscale atmosphere. Seemed like one of the higher end restaurants in Rothenberg but the prices were very reasonable.Dear DuaneK2424,Thank you for bringing your kids along into the Topinambur - wow 4 - just like us!It would have been a treat for your kids to stay in our family suite with bunk beds and starry sky - we built that especially for families.Thank your for recommendation to others to visit us for a upscale meal at reasonable prices - also here we promise not to raise the prices...;-)I remain with best regards,Ernest M.P. The little place serves great Italian food, at good prices, with kind, efficient service from the owners. The menu is small but everything we ordered was delicious. I particularly liked the swordfish pasta, wonderfully fresh and tasting of the sea. The pizzas also hit the mark. The panna cotta was among the best Iâve tasted. I loved the family vibe and the obvious care taken over every dish. Seriously good eating. Do book though. All the tables were reserved when we went.
