Went along tonight swayed by glowing reviews on TA. Seated in quite lovely surroundings, albeit a little stiff and contrived to what would normally suit us. Given menus promptly and our ordered bottle of sparkling water. Considered our options, keen to order cocktails, but no service for such a long time that we reconsidered cocktails and settled on a bottle of wine, but again, no service- waited, waited, looked longingly - then called it quits, which is hard to do when you feel compelled to order and are keen to do so, but honestly how long do you wait before you say âenough is enoughâ. Had a great time in Hippie fish. One of the few places in ubud that serve dinner till 11 pm. Rest all restaurants close at 10 pm. When we arrived there was live jazz music. The fare is mainly continental/Italian. Ordered the grilled tiger prawns platter. It was really great. The prawns cooked perfectly. We also ordered the lobster spaghetti which was quite delicious. Had 2 dinners in the restaurant with my girlfriend and we had a great time on both days. Live music in the evening is relaxing. Food quality is amazing and staff are so kind and helpful. Would love to come back if i ever visit Bali again.

We only had breakfast, so I can't comment on the whole menu, but what we had, we really enjoyed, both food and drinks. The cocktails are very reasonably priced. Lovely staff. Clean bathrooms. Wish they opened a bit earlier than 11am, which is my only reservation in not giving it 5 stars.
