San Marino's is a family run and operated restaurant that's been serving classic Southern Italian cuisine for almost 5 decades. Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. Full service bar and outdoor dining available. Bring the kids, too!
Nina and I, along with eight family members, enjoyed dinner at San Marino on the day after Thanksgiving. What a good time we had. Nina called in reservations, and we were seated immediately. The waitstaff was very attentive and quick to make appropriate suggestions where needed. As an example, I asked for a side of hot Italian Sausage, well, they had only sweet available. That's ok. I had a sweet Italian Sausage on the side of my Cheese Ravioli. This was served with salad and warm bread. I had an ice cold Budweiser, too. This restaurant is nice and comfortable for groups of all sizes. We've been here many times, and for many different reasons. This is one of Waterbury's finest restaurants.I rate San Marino with five stars. Please do come and enjoy this restaurant. you will not be disappointed.

My husband, adult daughter and I went on a Friday night. I made reservations last minute, but they were only moderately busy. I had a bowl of lobster bisque, which was just all right while my daughter had the French onion, which was good. For meals, my husband had the scallops and shrimp over penne which was very good, my daughter the swordfish which also was very good. I had an artichoke appetizer for my meal, which I did not care for. When it was time to clear the table, I had only eaten a piece of one artichoke. The waiter asked if I would like them wrapped and I told him no, that was ok. He asked me if I did not like them. I responded "not so much", but felt I had just ordered wrong. When he came back with the bill, he informed us that he had taken it off the bill. Great PR as far as I'm concerned. Will definitely go back, especially since I saw they have a patio!!! I might add my vodka martini was very good as well and my daughter enjoyed her wine.

Casual fine dining restaurant All pastas homemade Local ingredients Full Bar Patio dining Takeout and catering available Private dining room for parties and events
Johnâs Cafe has been a much known staple in Woodbury for many years which has only improved with time. It is a major departure from the litany of same same restaurants on Rt. 6.In example the chickpea fries are an interesting twist on its cousin the french fry. The bucatini (pasta dish) is amazing only second to the pan roasted duck breast which is no easy task since prep and cooking of duck is a critical task to have it come out tender and not rubbery like others who attempt to make it. Johns knocks it out of the park.I will say the reservations are highly recommended and there are no issues with parking. My only issue is the interior ambience is a bit to dark and difficult to read the menu. All things considered I rate Johns with a 4.5/5For location, varied unique menu items and food quality!

Each month we try to get together and try a new place for lunch - or dinner â this month was Lebnani Restaurant in Watertown Ct. itâs small but comfortable in the way it was set up. We put two tables together and were in a corner - so as to not bother other patrons we tend to talk a lot. Food was very good- and large portions and the wait time was not long at all for the food to arrive â we had the stuffed grape leaves and Canadian poutine (FF with gravy and cheese) along with there battata ( diced potato salad - and house saladsâ-as a start - only I had lentil soup â all very tasty and filling ! We ordered the beef shawarma beef wrap and chicken rice bowls and chicken shawarma with tomatoâs and onions over rice dinners and a combo platter #3âchicken and beef shawarma over rice â all were huge portions and we all took some home âfor lunch at work tomorrow we all had a great time â and will return again to try other menu items. You should give it a try if you are on the area and want to try some authentic Lebanese food

Very good sandwiches for breakfast order lunch. The homemade salads are the selling point of this place though. Curry chicken, antipasto, grilled veggie, and stuffed grape leaves are among the best they offer. Dry and canned goods available as well. Very friendly owners and staff.

Vyne is central Connecticut's dining destination. From a meal on our patio near the gorgeous waterfalls to sitting at our private chef's counter, Vyne is your place. We look forward to seeing you!
Okay, so the outside looks like a Long Island wedding factory, complete with statues, cascading waterfalls and semi-fake looking rocks. Step inside to what was once one of the most dazzling antique centers in Connecticut. The ambiance is a little flashy so step up to the NYC style bar and have a seat. Get a classic burger with the seasoned fries. Or the lamb "lollypops". Or a salad or a flatbread pizza. You won't be disappointed regardless. I got the burger, perfectly cooked, with lettuce, tomato and mayo (you dress it yourself). Nice. Check this place out...you'll love it.
