The political, scientific, historical, architectural and business center of Russia, Moscow displays the country's contrasts at their most extreme. The ancient and modern are juxtaposed side by side in this city of 10 million. Catch a metro from one of the ornate stations to see Red Square, the Kremlin, the nine domes of St. Basil's Cathedral, Lenin's Mausoleum, the KGB Museum and other symbols of Moscow's great and terrible past, then lighten up and shop Boulevard Ring or people watch in Pushkin Square.

The Central Moscow Mosque was demolished and rebuilt and is now one of the biggest in Europe. Its minarets are 72 meters tall and its central dome is 46 meters high. The reconstruction of the mosque cost $170 million. The dome and pavilions are covered with 12 kg of gold leaf. From the observation deck offers a panorama of the center and north of Moscow.
Nice and cozy mosque. At the entrance there is a shop where you can buy Muslim clothes, prayer beads, namazdiks and more.

This is a place where you can feel true history feeling. Hotel Ukraine is also known as being part of the famous seven sisters, a series of skyscrapers all built in Stalinist style. Book a room with river view and you will not regret it!
