I was in Kathmandu only for 3 days and I really needed a tour which would give me an opportunity to visit as much places of interest as possible in a short period of time. Although you may think it is expensive, this tour is very time-efficient, and it is really the best option to visit all the UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. My guide Rabina Khadka and her driver picked me up from my hotel at 7am and our private tour started on time. She took care of all the entrance tickets and we did not have to stand in line. Everything was very smooth, and most importantly, very personalized. She explained everything and informed me in general about the lifestyle and culture of Nepal. I greatly recommend this tour to anyone who is short of time and needs a personalized and flexible tour in a comfortable setting. Usually, it takes 2-3 days to visit all these places, but I was quite happy to do it in one day

Pottery square is a part of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, located at the south of Durbar Square. The place is locally known as "Bolachha Tole" but everyone knows it simply as Pottery square. Basically pottery is related to traditional things which are needed in our daily lives such as glasses, Jhar, offering light Lamp, piggy banks, vessels as well as a lot of decorative things. There are two ways to making a pottery: one is old technology which is based on manually and another is electric which is more easier and energy saving technology. Few steps of making a potteries that are: 1. Bring the best soil from the particular place 2. Mix water and soil in the right amount and make it flexible clay 3. Using the technology; whether it is manually or electric gives the design and shape out of muddy clay 4. Dried in the sun for a one day 5. Fire it 6. Color the pottery with the attractive design 7. And again dried for a day 8. Ready to sell the pottery

I was met by Rita & driver who welcomed me. I felt relaxed & they made me feel at home. Rita explained the day & explained anything I wasn't sure of. Patan Square was amazing & I was very impressed with Rita's knowledge of history. Bhaktapur Square was also great to visit & even saw a live wedding. Rita made the whole tour very enjoyable & brilliant. The buildings are just beautiful with so much history. I would recommend this tour to anyone & especially ask for Rita who will make the tour brilliant ! Thanks Rita for being a great tour guide :-)
National Museum is the first public museum of Nepal which was not opened till 1938 to general public. It was an arsenal museum and repository of weapons as well as a private collection of Royal family and Rana Prime Ministers. It was accessible to the general public in 1938 AD and was named as “Chhauni Silkhana“.It was renamed as Nepal Museum in 1942. It was formally named as National Museum (Rastriya Sangrahalaya) in 1967. Ever since its inception, the museum has collected thousands of pre-historical, archeological , history and culturally important objects and thus occupies as very prominent position as a repository of ancient Nepalese art, culture, sculpture and painting. Opposite the National Museum in an army compound, this will likely appeal only to fans of military history. Lined up on parade outside the museum are a two-person tank, Nepal’s first ever Rolls-Royce, gifted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1961, and a Sky van transport plane.
