Things to do in Walnut Creek
Havana was a perfect place for an informal after-work dinner with colleagues. Although the decor is simple and colorful, the food is complex and well-prepared. I stuck to small plates, including the best Cuban sandwich I've ever come across. Others were equally impressed with the quality of their dishes. If I get back to Walnut Creek, Havana will be at the top of my dining list.

AUTHENTIC South American food from Chef Guisell's native Chile. From flavorful Empanadas, Osso Bucco and traditional South Amercian Sandwiches to alfajores cookies freshly baked and filled with dulce de leche, we make everything with only the highest qual
We have not eaten in but have had the take out many times. The Empanadas are delicious - especially the ham & cheese and the beef. Also love the Ceviche, Fried Yucca and the Lomo Saltado. Hard to go wrong here. Very nice people as well.

We picked this restaurant based on the reviews and its location just half a block from the Lesher. We had an early reservation so we could make it to the show, but that also gave us access to their Happy Hour menu and prices. We started with the Empanada Trio, a tasty sampling of their empanadas. I had the half rotisseried chicken. It was excellent. The string beans were really good, too. I don't know what they did to make them so special. The rice and bean accompaniment was good, but not outstanding. My husband had the Limon Ribs. They were ok, but we both agreed we have had better ribs elsewhere. We tried two beers, Cusquena and 21st Amendment. They were excellent and went well with the whole meal. Nice service even though the restaurant was quite full by the time we left. It is noisy, but not excessively so. We would go back.

Wonderful mojitos enjoyed during Happy Hour. This was my second visit to this great little restaurant. We chose the Tapa approach for dinner . Beginning with Avacado Mash and Plaintain Chips. Followed by Tuna Tartar, Grilled Shrimp, ceviche of the day, Adovado Spiced Lamb Chops, Day Boat Scallops. All outstanding. Desert Pot of Chocolate. Yummy. Love this place, the service, the atmosphere and of course the food. Do yourself a favor and go if you haven't tried it yet.
