Located on a corner 5 blocks from the plaza de armas,We visited at 4:30 on a wednesday afternoon and many items on the menu were not available. They had no soya in any form which made up a good part of their menu. We opted for fries and mushrooms. The mushrooms come as a kind of mushroom saltado and to my mind went well with the fries. We also ordered a salad of asparagus, avocado, mushrooms, green olives and lettuce. It came with out the olives. When we questioned it we were told that they had none. So I asked for a reduction in the price of the salad. It was not given. Despite that moan it seemed an OK sort of place.

Capuccino´s two locations both offer a nice ambience and really spectacular menu. In principle, I´ve always found food to be a ´get what you pay for,´ experience, which applies here -- not cheap, but very, very good. They have stuff for vegetarians, too! Which isn´t too common for a Peruvian restaurant.

Ceviche de Mero and Piqueo especial ... so excellent!!! I would like to return again. It is near to Piura's main square (just two blocks). Go with frinds so you can try many dishes.

It's mostly a local food restaurant, so if you're looking forward to getting a taste of Peruvian cuisine this is definitely a good place to do so...If you want something a little spicy try the " tacu tacu " which is basically "arroz Moro" (Cuban) but spicy as I said, but not to much anyway.Everything I've tried from the menu it's been good so far, also the prices are ok, so basically you get what you pay for!

Tayanti is nice restaurant in Piura. Menu is unusual but very refreshing. I enjoyed the cocktails most...especially the Pisco cocktails. Sushi are also very interesting. Evening ambiance in Tayanti is simply mesmerizing. Perfect for a date to remember. Service is bit slow but the pace here is relaxing. Must in Piura visit
