Bayfield, at the northern tip of Wisconsin, on the shores of Lake Superior, is the main gateway to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, a series of pristine islands known as "The Jewels of Lake Superior." Camp, hike, kayak, scuba dive and sail amongst these 21 islands, exploring hidden sea caves, six historic light stations and forgotten ship wrecks. Our Ice Cave Tours are lead by Lake Superior Chippewa Tribal Guides and launch from our reservation in Red Cliff, Wi. We do not do tours to the Meyers Beach Ice Caves and and those caves will likely not have enough ice to open to foot traffic in the 2019 season. The Meyers Beach Ice Caves and the Red Cliff Ice Caves are both on the mainland, which is what makes them accessible to foot traffic.
Located in Bayfield, Wi we offer kayak and stand up paddle board rentals, tours and sales. We offer full Meyers Beach cave tours ($100) and half cave tours ($50). We travel in small groups that allows us to see and explore more caves in less time than outfitters that travel in groups of 12 and 18 paddlers. We also offer; Madeline Island sea cave tour ($50) Bayfield Shipwreck tour ($50)
