I did a so-so review about Umami a while back after a disappointing take-out experience but a return visit for eat-in dining turned out to be very good. Our Edamame and Lettuce Wrap starters were excellent. Our daughter and her partner raved about the Tom Yum soup, Sashimi and Red Curry while my wife and i were more than pleased with our Wonton Soup, Pineapple & Shrimp Fried Rice and Crispy Sesame Chicken. Atmosphere is pleasant and service was attentive. All in all, a good experience. Our bill for a group of 4 was $87 for a lot of food, a pretty good value. Will return!
Had a lunch with co-workers at this new Phoenixville spot. Restaurant is a BYO with inexpensive lunch specials and prices were reasonable ($67 for 4ppl including tip). Sushi was great and fresh. I had spicy tuna roll and shrimp tempura roll, both tasty, everyone enjoyed their lunch. Will definitely be back!

Itâs Tuesday evening and Tonyâs in the mood for Chinese and were in Pottstown at his brothers house. So we ask if they know of a good restaurant close. They told us to go to Mizu. The restaurant is very nice, great atmosphere. We ordered hot tea, which was made with fresh herbs. It was very mild and good. We ordered appetizers, the Shrimp tempura and fried Veggies. It was good but could of had more then 2 shrimp for the price. We ordered our main course , I had shrimp fried rice with crab meat, it was excellent and Tony had a beef chicken and shrimp with pan fried noodles, he liked it but didnât realize what fried noodles were. All in all it was a good dinner the portions were good and the price was reasonable. I really liked the decor too. I will definitely go back and recommend it to others.

Here we go, into an end storefront in a lazy little strip center, where an experienced NY Asian family casually grinds outthe standards, both sushi and chicken, beef, shrimp hibachi, done right. From sushi boats to rolls, with fresh seaweed salads, to knife juggling entertainers as hibachichefs, the quality, atmosphere, and pricing is very good.Enjoy this family operated business.Japanese soda in the glass ball bottle.
