Was not impressed with the hibachi at all. If you want rice off the grill itâs a $2 up charge so we were brought a tiny bowl of white rice because we were not upgrading to fried rice which is normally included. The vegetables that came with our meal was onions, mushrooms , and a few pieces of zucchini, oh I did I mention onions? Ha thatâs basically the only thing on my plate. The cheapest options ever. sauces were gross- didnât have yum yum sauce. Waste of $60.

The Wagyu Shumai were good but the delicate flavor of wagyu was not apparent in the shumai. Basically overpriced shumai and not extraordinary in any way. The Kamasu, seared Japanese red barracuda, was one of the best types of sushi weâve ever tried. Hiramasa, yellow tail tuna, was delicious and fresh. Tropical Spicy Tuna Roll and the Rising Sun Roll were both creative and good, but not as good as the sushi. Service: Service was bad. Our waiter was overwhelmed and slow. And it took forever to get the check and pay.Ambiance: energetic and chicOverall cleanliness: above averageBathroom cleanliness: above average

This place is a must in your trip to Houston. It is a perfect place for a delicious dining experience. Food is great. It consists of four courses: cheese fondue, salad, entree and chocolate fondue. You choose three to four times in your entree, and you get the chance to cook your meal yourself on the table. Now, they added a new cooking option which is grill style and it was perfect for the sirloin and chicken.Every time we go we have a great experience. Although our last visit was slightly different. The service was super slow, and we spent like three hours to finish our dining experience that my daughter missed half of it because she felt asleep. The waiter was very friendly and professional . It is not really a kid friendly place especially because the table has a stove on it, but it is doable . Highly recommended.

Came here for a business lunch and was very happy with the choice. The restaurant is a little pricy, but the lunch menu definitely has some good deals. I ordered the set lunch menu with yellowtail to start and a filet of salmon as the second plate. Everything was absolutely delicious, and I especially loved the interesting flavors of the yellowtail paired with its sauce.

I was in Houston for business and didn't feel like driving to dinner, so found this place -- Japanese cuisine sounded amazing after a few nights of TexMex -- and it was within walking distance from my hotel. It was packed on a Wednesday night - even the bar was very busy. My colleagues and I were seated promptly and our waitress (I can't remember her name) was friendly, funny and was very knowledgable about the menu. My first reaction was sushi because the fish at the bar looked fresh and incredible, but our waitress recommended the sea bass which was the BEST I've ever had. Great selection of saki's as well. Don't be put off that it's in a strip mall - you won't regret it.
