The fondue is excellent and the setting is Swiss kitsch, a Disneyland version of a traditional Swiss fondue hut. If you haven't been to a fondue steubli you'll enjoy this manufactured version. Despite the overdone tourist theme, complete with red checks and old wood, (I half expected a fake mountain gnome to appear) the food is actually great and the service professional. The fondue was irresistible down to the last dipped bread nugget. They execute the Swiss crowd pleasers really well. Prächtige Aussichtsterrasse, feine kalte Platte mit Schinken und Bergkäse. Sympathische Gastgeber. Ob der Kauserschmarren, von dem unsere Freunde schwärmten, tatsächlich so himmlisch schmeckt, können wir nicht beurteilen, Kaffee kam zwar aber unsere Dessertbestellung ging irgendwo in der hehren Bergwelt unter.

The Capuns (local specialty) were very good, portions are really big (they boast they have the biggest Schnitzel in Switzerland, we got the impression quantity was more important than quality). Service is friendly enough, the best is the view from the beautiful patio in the back.

We found out about the new management and we decided to visit. We were delighted with the food, the service and how welcoming the restaurant now is. The prices are fair and the food is excellent. Give it a try!

When we got three they didn't have our reservation. Luckily we still got a table. It was not possible to have any of the pizzas on the main menu in kid size, they only make certain types in kiddy size. Very inflexible. We ordered spaghetti for the little fellow, after waiting for more than one hour we got our pizzas but not the kids meal. After another 10 minutes they brought out the kids meal but the wrong one. Took another 10 minutes until we finally had the kids meal, by this time the little one was asleep. We also got served a room warm beer.Not happy will never come back!
