Discover Restaurants offering the best Italian food in Savannah, Georgia, United States. Charming Savannah is the picture of antebellum hospitality, thanks to period architecture and oak-lined streets. It’s tempting to spend your trip just relaxing on vast verandas and sipping mint juleps, but there are plenty of historical sites and museums to explore. Haunting (and possibly haunted) Bonaventure Cemetery is one of the hallmarks of the city, featuring beautiful obelisks, masses of flowers, and ivy-covered crypts. Dine on fresh seafood and creamy grits for a taste of Savannah home cooking.

This place called screaming mimis pizzas and subs doesn't look like much from the outside or inside, but the food is amazing. The employee that took our order was special, she took care of us and was very friendly, the other staff cooking the pizza wasn't very friendly but their pizzas were amazing. We would definitely stop again.

Everything about this restaurant has five stars, from start to finish !I am Italian, and grew up with my little Italian grandmother cooking for me, so I know what real authentic Italian tastes like, and this is it! The wine was delicious, the bread and the oil and vinegar was delicious, as well as the lasagna! I even came back the night after to get something else. The service was wonderful as well, I was seated very quickly and everyone was very attentive. There are not a lot of tables in this restaurant though, so I would imagine thereâs probably a line during the season or at busy times. A must if you want real Italian food!

We can host large parties of 50 or fewer in our private dining room.
This place is date night material. We have gone here for over 13 years. We have never had a bad meal or bad service. Itâs not gourmet but simple southern Italian food. Served by a bevy of young willing servers. I always get pasta with red clam sauce. Which includes a salad and fresh baked bread sticks. Add carafe of sangria and tow can eat and drink for $50. I highly recommend this simple restaurant..

If you're hungry for excellent, authentic, made from scratch Italian food, don't miss this simple looking restaurant. Very prompt and personable service and you could tell the food was made from scratch on premises. They also bottle/package their Italian food and have a small storefront and will also ship. They were also a convenient 5 minute walk from the Marriott Courtyard in the Historical District. Their menu is more extensive that what is displayed online. They close at 7 pm.

Came here for a light bite after being recommended by our tour guide. We were seated outside by the greeter. The tables are not massive but were ok. The surroundings were a bit shabby, but this place is cheap and cheerful. We ordered pizza by the slice and they were quick at coming out and actually pretty tasty. Itâs a great location to watch the world go by, and also for a cheap bite to eat, but would I want to come here for a night out.....Iâm not entirely sure.
