I'm here for vacations, o have experienced several problems since my arrival, we did our reservation for 8 persons and when we got here there was only space for 7. First night the noise was unbearable due to the disco next to the hotel. Next day after we went to the beach we returned to the rooms not cleaned and without bed sheets, we also did not have towels and they said they did not have more for us.I don't think I'm coming back to this hotel

A group of us had dinner there recently and the food was very good. I had the canneloni stuffed with spinach and ricotta and a pomodoro sauce topping. Ordered a salad fresca which was huge and fresh and delicious. The whole table of seven had a little of it. Everyone was served promptly except my husband and somehow they forgot his order but it did not take them long to correct that and bring out his food.

Best Eggplant Parmigiana that I ever tasted. We were not expecting much, and found this hidden gem of incredible Italian food. Every family member was delight on what they had. Looking forward to many return trips. Clams were to die for.

We walked to Cafe de Claudio which is located near the beach between Playa de Chipipe and Playa San Lorenzo where we were living. Claudio the chef and the main waiter have good english language. Professional and fun service. The fish specials are fresh and perfectly prepared. While it's important to try Ecuadorian cooking and local fish, he made a fantastic traditional italian special, Gnocchi alla Sorentina. The restaurant is based in a hotel and the vibe is refined but casual. It's a few dollars more than other restaurants in the area, but it was very good every time.As this review is being written, there is a transportation strike in Ecuador. You might call ahead. He was closed on Wednesdays while we were there.

being of Italian heritage and having travelled to Italy MANY times, I was reluctant to dine in an Italian restaurant outside of Italy. however, a group of friends chose this location and boy am I glad we joined them. the food is absolutely delicious. the service is outstanding and location is great (walking distance from malecon of Salinas) I was so impressed that, we had dinner reservations at a different restaurant for 2 days later with another set of friends. and we cancelled and immediately made reservations at casa Rabotti again. and they impressed us the second night as well. (we all ordered different things from the menu - and everything was delicious ) I highly recommend you include casa rabotti on your list of places to eat . cant wait to go back in December.
