We stopped in for an early dinner before a play at Bay Street last week. It was our second visit there since it opened late last summer. The renovation is great and the place is funky and inviting. The staff is friendly but unfortunately pretty clueless about good service. I don't fault the individuals but rather management, which really needs to gear up training. A pizza joint doesn't require 5-star service, but this place aspires to be more than a pizza joint with a full bar and prices that lead you to expect more efficient service. And it would be to the owner's advantage to have wait staff that got why it was better to ask a customer if they wanted another glass of wine (at $16!) instead of just whisking the glass away. Bread, which they called focaccia, is extra and when my husband ordered it to go with his salad, it showed up 5 minutes after he finished the salad and was ordinary Italian bread so toasted it was hard to chew without cracking a tooth. As for the pizza, it's not bad, but doesn't hold a candle to the incredible pies they turn out at Pizza Brunetti in Westhampton Beach. Not sure if the oven isn't hot enough or the ingredients (mostly the cheese) not as good, but it is B+ pizza at best, albeit priced at A or A+. I mention all this because I so wish this place was better and am hoping some management attention will get it to the next level. Sag needs a place like this. Here's hoping it becomes what it was intended to be.

Fine Southern Italian Dinning
This restaurant is what I love about sag Harbor. Itâs fine Manhattan worthy outdoor dining in a seaside setting. They have a beautiful outdoor patio deck for after dinner drinks with all your favorite wines and trendy cocktails.

We were so thrilled with this restaurant.. The food was very delicious, the ambiance, sitting outside, was magical, the music selection was outrageously fantastic, the hostess, Stephania and maitrre d, Eric, also charming and warm.... This was a wonderful night. There were little fire-flies. They added to the fabulous feeling for me. I have not seen one in a long time and seeing little green flashes enhanced an already incredible evening for me and my husband. If you have not been, you will thank me!

Last minute decision to go out to dinner- every restaurant in Sag Harbor and Southampton were booked up. Have had rave reviews from fussy friends about Cappelletti's and decided to give it a go.Parking was tight but once inside we were given the choice of several tables. Of course we could not make up our mind. The waitress instead of getting mad just laughed as we moved around finally picking one.The service was very good, all our questions were answered. We ended up requesting changes to several of the dishes. No problem. Everything came out as ordered. We had the eggplant meat balls- very good, rib eye- cooked perfectly, and pasta with seafood- exceptional. If this restaurant was in either SH or SGH villages you would not be able to get a table. It's location, approx 10 minutes west of sag harbor, is well worth the trip!

Old standby in a town with lots of restaurant turnover. A cut above a red sauce Italian place. Gets crowded early in tourist season - reserve if you can. Good salads, had a nice veal/marsala dish, although meat a little tough. Pasta side perfectly al dente.Reasonable and well curated wine list. Hint - find parking in the bank lot across the street if after banking hours. We must mention outstanding table service - friendly, knowledgeable, quick, even when things got frantic in the place.
