It was Saturday night and we hadn't booked so were somewhat surprised when we found the restaurant and there were only two people eating. Their Bruschetta for two was delicious but it was more like a rectangular pizza, it was extremely filling but a great starter to share. We then had the Linguini Vongole which was extremely good, the only complaint being a large number of the clam shells were broken and a piece of shell in a mouthful of linguini is not pleasant. They didn't have the wine I ordered and replaced it with a Chianti which was very good. Overall the service was good, the atmosphere was sadly lacking, perhaps because of the numbers, and the food was very good but expensive. 2 aperitifs, shared starter, 2 linguini vongoles and 1 bottle of wine â¬125.

This is opposite McDonalds on the main drag into town. They do take away and a simple high table eat in. Good pizza's , very reasonably priced and good wine. We found a lot of places close early, this has last orders at 10.00pm. Good for children .

We went straight to Delicium on our first night in Megeve after a long journey from Sydney. The food is consistent and has all the comfort food options you expect from an Italian restaurant. The staff here were the friendliest we experienced in Megeve.

Good street food from here. Very nice pizza for 10⬠which is very good value. It took about ten minutes for it to be cooked. There's no public seating in the immediate area but plenty of places to perch. Useful when it's busy in the restaurants around the town.

Great place to get a meal if you are looking for a break from fine dining(and prices).Pizza was excellent. By my definition, crusty rather than classic crispy - just as I like them. Dropped a star because the staff were just plain run off their feet. Friendly and efficient for sure but it just got too busy for them to cope as it got later. Suggest an early start if you want to avoid a long wait for a table later in the evening. Wine selection was great considering it is a 'pizza place'. That said the general menu has something for everyone. I will definitely be visiting again.DurbaninKent,Thank you very much for your nice comment ! In France it is not easy just to swing by a good place and hope to get a table without reservation, this was the case also but they have âwinter gardenâ heaten place outside so we stayed there.. alone.., maybe the winter hats scared other people away . I had the Monster burger, which was made the french way.. a lot of âsmellingâ cheese, cheesy patty too. Several things I would recommend to improve-the main would be the patty which does not hold the âstuffingâ the good things ;) at all. You definitely have to use fork and knife, the meat I requested medium rare/came welldone but I did not mind as I digged into it anyway. The fries were one of the best fries I have ever had! You are right, our Monster Burger is a very French one, made with local ingredients such as real french bread instead of buns and strong local mountain cheese. It is for these reasons that the burger is often a favorite of our guests but it indeed requires a fork and a knife and we understand this can be quite unexpected for that type of food.
