Our family came in from surf lessons and were so happy to see this option right across the street. This family owned and operated business was delightful. The hot dogs and gelato were both amazing. The organic mango was our favorite! Show some love to this new spot!

Well, I typically do not eat Italian outside my house, but I wanted to give this place a try. I was not disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient, the appearance is simple but sleek and reflect what I would expect from a Japanese style place. There is no clutter, despite being a small single room place, and it appears to be clean and efficient.First came the Amuse bouche, a palate cleanser, like they call it. Pleasant surprise! The Spicy tuna Bruschetta (technically a crostini not a bruschetta) was fantastic!! I could eat a ton of those! Perfect balance of flavor, heat and texture. The Tuna Poke was also very good, even though it left me craving for some starchy rice at the bottom of the bowl to collect those yummy juices and provide an aesthetically pleasing color contrast on the dark bowl! The Chicken parmigiana and the salad were as expected. The dessert: we had chocolate mousse. Was also good. I would have liked a creamier mousse, a little richer in chocolate flavor. The prices are extremely reasonable and I felt I got a good value for my money. I will definitely go back to try some more items from this bizarre combination of Japanese and Italian flavors. Well done Tanpopo!

Here on Maui and got a craving for pizza... this place hit the spot. Delicious pizza, zero complaints. Kind and quirky staff who made for great conversation while we waited for our pizza. AND supports local farmers, businesses, and sustainability. Shop local!

Sarento's is nestled on one of Maui's premier beaches overlooking the islands of Molokini, Kaho'olawe & Lana'i, providing guests with unsurpassed romantic ocean view. Italian-style warmth & hospitality are part of the atmosphere that makes this fine dinin
As an 18 year resident, I have experienced the good and meh of Sarentos. Just experienced the Terrible. The hostess and Bloody Mary were passable. Brunch food and service were unacceptable on every level. The fact that there was a supposed âmanagerâ working the floor, compounds the felonies. The server was professionally inept, and personally dull. He should never be placed front of guests. The new menu looked strange ( no traditional Eggs Benedict) but one with Chorizo. Pita wraps were dry, lacking veggies, and tasteless. A slice of quiche for $20 proved equally disappointing. When this feedback was shared with the âmanagerâ, his solution was, âCome back, Iâll give you a 25% discountâ. No thanks, I will never go back. And I will share this review generously.

We only had pizza that we ordered for takeout. The pizzas are small and very thin crust so one pie will not satisfy a family. You'd need maybe 3 pies (or more) for a family of 4+ if you are hungry. Although small they are tasty and I loved the thin crust. The one with arugala, mushrooms & prosciut was my favorite. They aren't cheap either but overall they were good pizzas.

We were here over the summer and ordered a large Hawaiian pizza (ham and pineapple). The pizza was crispy, the ham was excellent, and they used Maui pineapples which made for one of the best pizzas we´ve ever had! The atmosphere of the restaurant is also nice. The wooden walls with weird artwork reminded me a little of Pirates of the Caribbean for some reason. It was just a casual, rustic place along the main road next tot he beach. The restaurant itself is indoors (don´t go if you are imagining beautiful views or nice patio seating). A great place to take the family if you are craving pizza!
