Fazoliâs is a new Italian restaurant for Dothan (2019). Fazoliâs is a fast food Italian chain of 214 stores spread out over 27 states from coast to coast. Dothanâs is located on Hwy 231 next to Cracker Barrel. Parking is plentiful and access to and from Hwy 231 (Ross Clark Circle) is easy.Ordering is done at the front of the restaurant very reminiscent of a Zoeâs or McDonaldâs. Two cash registers and three huge electronic menus are on the wall in front. There is also an easy accessible menu on-line.I ordered Spaghetti with Marinara and a Caesar side salad. The Spaghetti was very good; I canât remember ever having eaten a tastier dish of Spaghetti. Two long stick rolls accompanied my dinner. They were barely warm, had sat in butter making them somewhat soggy and they werenât very crisp...that was disappointing, I love bread. The Caesar salad was lettuce in a bowl and some thin slices of cheese on top with a pouch of salad dressing and a bag of croutons. Once I prepared the salad with the accompanying ingredients, it was OK. I would not get it again. For my drink I selected bottled water. For desert I ordered the New York Style Cheesecake. It had strawberries on it. The strawberries had died a tragic canned death some time ago, but the cake with some of the syrup on it was very good. The cooked portion of your meal is brought to you in a very nice fashion with a waiter offering to grind cheese onto your selection on a portable serving stand before he places the dish in front of you.Utensils (metal), napkins, and drink dispensers are located in the center of the restaurant on a self-serve counter. When you are done with your meal, leave the table as is, no need to bus the plates etc., in fact there are no big trash cans suggesting you do.My meal cost me with tax $13.27. There are no provisions for a tip, i.e. container or place on the check.Fazoli's does NOT serve alcoholic beverages. The Spaghetti was good but the rest of the meal was average. The staff is very nice and eager to help. As of this review the restaurant has only been open for 2 months. The restaurant has a drive-thru. Iâll give it a try again.

You work hard for your pay check and make a decision to take your lovely bride out to celebrate being in love after 35 years, so you go to the one Italian restaurant in the area with an impeccable reputation for great service and quality food â Bellaâs Fine Dining. Prices are steep, but itâs a special evening and you just know it will be worth every penny. Started with a couple of drinks at the bar before we were seated. Drinks were cold and the bartender was very friendly â the evening was starting off absolutely wonderful. We were seated in a nice cozy table in the corner, although the restaurant was not crowded I was thinking maybe they thought we wanted to be alone. The server arrived and immediately asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, of which my wife responded â35 years of being in love.â After we ordered our appetizer we sat and patiently waited. The server brought us out some slices of bread and dipping oil â mussels arrived and they had to be some of the best weâve eaten since moving to Alabama several months ago. When we placed our order, we both elected the house salads, and we ordered the Blackened Shrimp and Andouille Penne and Chicken Marsala with angel hair pasta. Finished up the mussels, had another drink and waited. And waited. Nothing too long after all it is an Italian fine dining restaurant and you just know they are cooking each meal with tender loving care. Server brings out the meals and guess what â no penne pasta in the Blackened Shrimp and Andouille plate. The cook forgot to add the pasta ï After several minutes of trying to get the servers attention, my wife continues to eat and by the time she comes over my wife is half done with her plate. âOhh my goodness, let me take your plate back to the kitchen.â So I respond, âdo you think we could please also get the salads we ordered?â Of which we get another âOhh my goodness.â So we ask for some bread since bread does go well with Italian food. Long story short â General Manager has visited our table, my wife has finished eating her meal, we never received the salads or the bread, my meal finally shows up ten minutes later and we ask politely ask to have it placed in a âto go boxâ since my wife is done and things are have gotten rather comical. We politely tell them to forget the salads and the bread because by now we just want to leave; so they offered us a complimentary dessert. Server has politely apologized, General Manager has politely apologized. I finish my review with this final comment â we were handed a bill for $87 and after gratuity we dropped $100 for the above mentioned dining experience. What do you all think? Is this a do over place?Oh, I would have been upset as well but Bellaâs is definitely a do over and usually never like that please let be the first to apologize please call me at 334-714-4513. I would like to make it up to you and your bride of 35 years. Sincerely, Robin

I am really glad to write a review on Olive Garden after a previous experience of bad service. The previous waitress was preoccupied talking to friends and did not serve us correctly. HOWEVER, we decided to return for another visit and this visit was OUTSTANDING in every way. Our server was Ryan O and he was also outstanding. In fact, if it was up to me, I would make him manager. The courses were served right on time and he made us feel like we were real VIPs. Also, the food was more than tasty and cooked to perfection. We owe a nice evening to Ryan O and thank him for the wonderful service. Of course, we shall return soon and, of course, ask for Ryan O to be our server.

As locals weâve eaten here and ordered out dozens of times. Richie Bâs has the only pizza in town that rivals NY/NJ pizza. Originally being from NJ I missed having very good pizza until Richie came to town. The Cattlemanâs pizza (basically a philly cheesteak pizza) is outstanding but all varieties are very good. Richies subs (especially the Philly cheesesteak) are also the best in town. Richie wears his heart on his sleeve, most of the time heâs in good spirits but occasionally heâs not (most of the negative reviews are attributed to this - NOT the food. The food is worth every penny. Donât forget the VIPER sauce!

Arrived at 1300 on a Saturday, not busy, about 5 tables with patrons. Sat quick and got drinks and an appetizer fast. Pizza took forever though and was average. Our 2nd visit and will go back, but only if we have time to spare! Gave them an average vs poor since the server and food was ok. Thanks for your feedback - we apologize about the wait. Next time you're in, let us know about your previous experience and we will make sure to make it right. Thanks for your business, and we do hope to see you again soon.
