I discovered this small place recently but it exists for many years in Colmar as a shop selling italian specialities. Few years ago, it added 5 tables which means that it is necessary to make a reservation. it continues selling italian products and ready dishes to take away. A beaufitul place with a nice atmosphere.The today's menu changes every day according to the season and products available at the market. Price per person : 20 euros (and 25 euros with dessert).Dishes are excellent. I highly recommend this small place for adults.

In the very busy Christmas market season, I found the service at La romantica to be quite good. In fact, we enjoyed our first lunchtime experience so much that we went back the next day for lunch as well. We ate on the ground floor on day one, and upstairs on day two. The margarita pizza was yummy, and the exotica pizza's ingredients were so fresh! Good selection of beverages as well. Rui was a star on day two, navigating some pretty sizable groups upstairs. He never appeared stressed and was so pleasant to the customers. Delicious pizza, outstanding espresso, very nice people, lovely decor. Also, they open at 17:30, earlier than other places. All in all a perfect place for a delicious affordable Italian lunch or dinner. Must go! GO!

We had pizza here and found the place not to be enthusing. There was nothing to seriously complain about either. The pizza was ok though not outstanding. Service was ok, neither particularly friendly nor unfriendly. Service was swift when the restauurant was still almost empty then getting really slow when it became packed. Generally not very attentive.We will probably not return as chances should be good to find a better Italian restaurant.

Dined as a family of four, two adults and two young children. Although we didnât speak French and the Menu was not in English, we managed to order quite easily with the help of the restaurant team. Food was delicious, every single dish, and true to the flavors we remembered in our many trips to Italy. We will definitely come back if we visit Colmar again!

Just outside of "old town" is the Ridstorante La Pignata...about a 5 7 minute walk from the city center. This is the most authentic Italian restaurant in the area...a great staff, very friendly and warm. We didn't have a reservation but arrived right around opening time (1900 hours) and the owner seated us without hesitation. My wife and I each had a glass of Prosecco and for our first course we shared a pizza Margherita...neither one of us could have eaten the entire pizza...it was too large. But it was delicious. The dough was perfect and the amount of cheese was spot on. We shared our second course, the Gamberoni with pasta. It too was very good...the tastes were authentic Italian. Lastly we shared three scoops of gelato and we had an espresso. The place was packed with mostly residents of Colmar...so you know it's good. The owner and the wait staff were very outgoing and friendly. We highly recommend La Pignata should you wish an Italian meal while visiting Colmar in the Alsace region of France. Great spot!
