Things to do in Barlad
being on National 2 road is good to stop for a quick eat but they like to position higher...yet the service is very poor and food is regular....yet nothing to complain...i eat a pizza and was OK...i ordered spicy sauce and they brought a regular one....they came with the food very late...still nice terace.
An old house has been redecorated and transformed into a restaurant. The courtyard is very nice with solid wood furniture and plenty of flowers. They have a lot of seats indoors and outdoors and the facilities are clean. The pizza is good and the prices are decent too. Overall a nice experience.
The food was quite good at Galmondo, they have a varied menu and the dishes arrive quickly. The waiters are poorly trained (if at all), they are nervous and tentative. It would be great if management would invest in these men, they show potential. The prices are very good, and the place looks elegant.

Visited while on a volunteer trip to Barlad. This is a bit of a special occasion meal price-wise, but the outdoor patio offers a great place to dine when the weather's nice with comfy seating. I had a tasty oven-baked lasagna, which I was told they offer only on certain nights. Service was a little slow. Ended with one of the many cake options to choose from from their rotating display case. Go for a slice of the triple-chocolate cake!

The restaurant is decorated in a modern way, situated centrally with a capacity of 120 seats. Classically and elegant decor provides the perfect ambience for successful parties and the passionately cooked foods with the flavor of a wine quality will be app
We did not thought that we can have such a nice dinner in a small city like Barlad. The dishes were delicious and the desert was fascinating. We ate pork ribs, sheep pastrami, Alona cake and yogurt with forest fruits cake. The prices are also very decent and for sure you will receive more value than the price you`ll pay. We paid about 200 RON for 3 persons, one dish per person, one desert per person and one bottle of wine with some soft drinks.Congratulations Alona!Your appreciation matters a lot to us. Thank you and you are welcome to come back anytime! All the best wishes to you,Ionut
