Came today to sample the chef's special, and I wasn't dissapointed. Everything is what you expect from a great, local pub with food that tastes as good as it looks. We were lucky to arrive before the lunchtime crowd.I'd highly recommend but to avoid disappointment you need to book your table. Can't wait till my next visit and hope the Alma team keep up their hard work.Just wish I could give 11/10.

A bar for the discerning drinker with perceptive service and quality food. We had Mojito cocktails and sharing board/platter which was simply delicious. We could not fault a single thing. We came away thinking how lucky is Worcester to have an establishment like this!

Bolero Bar and Kitchen is a daytime and evening premium venue, offering high quality casual dining and an unrivalled choice of drinks ranging from specially selected beers, wines and champagnes to cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere.
Weâve booked a table for 6 with fun friends and Boleros was chosen purely because we remembered a night there before, was vibey and the staff was attentive. None of that was present with this night out. We were put on a table very far from everything but close enough to the smokers patio :((Clearly this place was understaffed because we waited 1.5 hrs for our food! The reason we were given was that there was a big party who ordered before us. Did the kitchen staff not know beforehand the numbers ? Get your act together Boleros! Hire more staff!!The waitress was lovely and offered us free wine to make up for the wait. Worcester is becoming very hip with many other trendy eateries. I think we will explore those, instead of returning to Boleros. Let me end on a positive note - the food was really good !

Ostlers has changed hands and boy is that noticeable! The moment we entered the restaurant we could see it was different - cheap garage carnations on the tables, terrible artwork on the walls, inappropriate background music, poor decoration. You get the picture. Whilst the quality of food is always paramount in a restaurant (and this was indeed very good, although slow) as a dining experience, it was poor - one star. The exception was the main waitress who was excellent - helpful, efficient, friendly and polite. The young man, however, was hopeless - flappy, stressy and inefficient. He also kept blaming the kitchen at every possible point. It turns out heâs the Manager!!! My other gripe is the wine list which is extremely poor. If you ask for a glass of Prosecco (which I did) you get one of those small screw cap bottles - I couldnât drink it, it was THAT bad. The wine list is short but not in a good way - the choice was very poor. We noticed that they no longer served complimentary bread - I get it, it costs them BUT that kind of sums it all up. A new chef owner who is good at cooking but who has absolutely no idea about the rest. Despite the quality of the food, we wonât be going back. Shame.
