Mezcaleria Xoco it's a tasting and art house. We are located in the center of the city of Taxco, where you can find different spirits of Mexico. Cocktails and artisanal beer, in a bohemian atmosphere where you can enjoy international cuisine with a good m
Where ever we go in Mexico, we always search out the mezcal bars. Taco has a really good one, Mezcaleria Xoco. There are mescals from several different states, including Guerrero, which is nice if you've mostly tasted just Oaxacan mezcals. There is an extensive list of mezcals to taste and we had about 5 of them (half tastes!). If you are a mezcal fan like I am, don't miss this place!

Recently opened (end of 2018), this is the newcomer of the Taxco bar scene. Some say they have the cheapest beer in town, Iâm not so sure. Love the décor, themed on the painting The Starry Night by Van Gogh. A lot of calming blues, a lot of stainglass effects. Although the place is new and well decorated, the restroom, on the other hand is dreadful. Men and women share the same one bathroom and it is absolutely filthy. Also, very tiny and with only a small hook to barely hold the door shut. The door opens directly next to chairs where people drink â not very appetizing. The overall artsy concept is nice. They also show some works of art and have a great view of town, a nice bonus. The gentleman who welcomed me (a friend of the owner I am told) was absolutely drunk in the middle of the day. I detest slobbery people welcoming me to a bar. If it hadnât been for my friends, I wouldâve turned around. The owner was very welcoming but too busy to really pay attention to his clientele. It took us a long time before finally get and pay the bill. Construction was going on in a corner of the bar, hopefully a real restroom⦠I would give this place another chance and hopefully theyâll have a sober welcoming crew and clean/safe restrooms next timeâ¦

A good choice in Taxco! I was with my family and had a very nice lunch. The place is fine and has a nice view. The food is above average. Simple yet well cooked and presented. The service is very good. The price is a good deal. I do recommend this as a good option while in Taxco.... also, located right a few steps away from the Sta Prisca Church.
