The restaurant has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Mosel river and is a great spot for pre-dinner drinks.The food is straightforward, good, tasty and well cooked. All your German favorites are available. We had a Schnitzel and a Gordon Blue, both really delicious, with a side salad and fries & gratin potatoes.Before the meal a nice 'Strudel' of assorted mushrooms was served as amuse. A nice touch by the friendly and professional service team.

Sat down here at 8pm on a Saturday evening. It was quite busy. It was difficult to get attention, you had to chase a waitress rather than them coming to you.Ordered drinks, starter and main course. Drinks came fairly quickly. Starter arrived at 8.30pm. Then we sat until 9.30pm with no food. We were sat next to a group of 4. The 1st diner had finished his meal before the 4th diner had got their food. At 9.30 I asked where the food was and I was told 'We only have a small kitchen'. I don't class myself as a business genius but the obvious answer is have less tables. Waitresses seem to be coming out with just one plate at a time.At 9.40 after waiting 1 hour 10 minutes for my meal, I paid for my drinks and left.Wild horses wouldn't drag me back there.

Just went there during dinner as was residing in a hotel close by. Great location, friendly staff and good food. Mainly local and if course local wines which are awsome. Can recommend this restaurant for a visit.

This beautiful unassuming restaurant is tucked away on the Insel camping site right on the Mosel River. The views are spectacular, taking in all the river traffic and enjoying looking at the vineyards.The food is wonderful, freshly cooked and excellant value for money. The staff very attentive. Food is served all day and well worth a visit!
