Odd one this. Mixed atmosphere. Friendly, but disinterested service. Busy, but tables carefully kept for regulars. There are pictures on the tourist menu. Itâs almost like two restaurants in one. Avoid the non- Hautes-Alpes classics, which are a little mean and landed quickly, but badly with all of us. Go for the generous looking pierrade and cook yourself happy; Wife loved her crepe, deserts otherwise functional. We could have been regulars, but disappointed, will carry on down to the foot of the gargoyle from now on.

You order at the bar here and have to collect your food on a tray and take it to your table. If your table is upstairs - the stairs are steep in ski boots and it can be a bit of a balancing act for 3 people. Not as busy as other mountainside lunch spots, but still a challenge.

Ate here several lunch times while skiing. Pretty good lunch menu including pasta & pizza. Nice decor and good tunes too. Staff very friendly.Just back from dinner there. The standard of food definitely went up a notch with some really good Italian dishes & generous portions. Recommended.

After we had finished up Skiing on our last day of our holiday we had lunch here.We had Pizza and Calzone for Mains which were both lovely and some of their excellent house Red Wine. Rhubarb Tart and the best Creme Brulee I have ever had to follow with a glass of their Dessert Wine.Very good value for money too.Great meal to finish off the week. Highly recommend.

Visited for a very late lunch. The restaurant had clearly been very busy and the remaining diners seemed very content. The menu is good and the nicoise salad was beautifully presented and the pasta was also good. The décor is pleasant with comfortable sofas on one side for drinks. We were the last in and the last to leave and although it was obvious they were closing for that quiet period between lunch and dinner we were not rushed or felt obliged to hasten our departure.Facilities were clean and fresh smelling with diffusers. (They own the Golf club too and they do amazing aperol spritz!). Reasonable prices.

Originally, in the middle of 800 centuries, the building was used as a stable for the changing over of horses for the Postal Service which went all the way from Turin to Briançon. On the main column there is a stone sculpture inscribed upon which is the y
Popped in here when there was too much snow to ski! We received a warm welcome straight away and there was a good choice of dishes on the menu for everyone! The food was delicious and hot and we all enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Very enjoyable!
