Each visit to the restaurant is now a great taste experience for us. The combination of ingredients always excites the pallet in some of the most unexpected ways. The fish dish last night was exquisite. The lamb maultaschen and asparagus combined local menus with great flavors. The service is really top class. Always impressive when the service staff great you professionally at the door, remember the table orders and deliver the correct dish to the correct person. The wine list can also be explained and recommendations for the right wine with your meal. Really a great team. Thanks again for a great evening. Dear 269luch, thank you for visiting our Hotel/Restaurant again and the great review and recomondation. See you hopefully soon.

Had lunch here during a weekday when most places were still closed for New Years holidays. Place is small, with approx 8 tables, the food was very good. Favorite was the Rothenburger which had some kind of special bread and double meat patties. Which were, to our impression, not the supermarket variety but decidedly upmarket. The sweet potatoe fries are alsio recommended.

Pleasant surprise in the city center, with an attractive menu and friendly service. The weather was really hot and we couldn't have dinner inside, so I can't say much about the ambiance.I liked the food (nice salmon trout) and especially the dessert.I will go back to try more choices.

The dining room is elegant and tasteful. Our server was wonderful until he disappeared to serve other tables in the back. Then we had to wave somebody else down to get any kind of service. He did show up later to offer dessert but by then we were quite done and wanted to leave. Iâll also add the we were seated at 6pm, placed our orders by 6:10 and were finally served by 7pm. Thatâs a long time to wait. We did have bread served to us with a variety of butter and cheese but we arenât big bread eaters and I have a dairy allergy and have to avoid cheese, utter and bread unless I know what ingredients are in it. The menu is varied and interesting but as soon as I mentioned that I had a dairy allergy, I was told that the only thing I could order was the risotto of sweet-sour pickled pumpkin with lambâs lettuce pesto. They did offer to prepare a pork steak for me but it would have to be a plain fried piece of meat with no garnishments. For a fine dining restaurant, there is a lack of creativity in the kitchen. So I got the pumpkin risotto which was very good but had very little pumpkin flavor. Hubs got the roast venison with sauteÌed mushrooms, red cabbage and black bread dumplings except when his plate came out, they forgot to include the black bread dumplings. He had to wave down a server and it was brought out on a separate plate. His meal was drowned in this heavy dark sauce that it was difficult to taste anything else. Basically it just looked unappetizing. Once again, no creativity in the kitchen. Overall it was pretty underwhelming, especially considering the price and the elegant surroundings. It was our last night in Rothenburg and I wish we had gone somewhere more memorable to eat.

Using local seasonal produce is central to the creation of this modern German and international cuisine. Nowadays it is imperative to know what you eat and drink, hence we put the greatest emphasis on the quality of our food, thus most of our meat is purc
My full review is contained on the hotel rating. This was a 50th wedding anniversary dinner with six family members from the U.S. The food was very good, service was terrible with waiter serving guests outside and inside and having to wait a long time for food and even water refill from initial order. Our great grandmother was born in Deutsches Haus in 1855 when her father was a physician in the city. They lived on the second floor and when two sisters went up to just take photos of the hallway, the staff rudely ordered them out. When they explained the significance of the building to our family, they were again told to leave and ignored their request. The food wasn't worth any of it.

Very attentive service Great wine selectionMain dishes of osobuco, lamb ragout met the markStarters and soup were tastyFlexible to add ingredients to tasteDo check the billAmazing ambienceMemorable courtyard filled with historyMust visit in AnsbachDear guests,we are very happy that you visited our restaurant and that you felt comfortable. Your honorable words as well-traveled guests are appreciated and incite us. Unfortunately while we created the invoice a mistake happened. Using the touch screen your invoice accidently showed a position which belonged to the table next to you. We are very sorry and we apologized already. To realize such mistakes - which, we are happy to say, do not happen very often - each guest receives a computerized invoice with all positions to doublecheck. Fortunately you recognized the wrong position immediately and you received a new bill before you payed. We would be delighted to see you again in our house.
