You'd never know it from outside looking at the house front of Dominicks right smack in the middle of a part of campus but there's a nice courtyard area complete with fountain, Arbor, flowers, and little structures decorating the space. As for the food, I tried the eggplant Parmesan and my wife had the eggplant Parmesan sandwich. Both were tasty. The salad that came with my meal was fresh and interesting. I'd give this place five stars if it was a little less expensive. Lunch without drinks was over $30 which even for Ann Arbor is a bit steep. But it was a good lunch and I will go back.

Got here early for a U Michigan interview. Had breakfast here , lasted till dinner. HUGE omlettes, too much cheese. Marthaâs Vineyard was excellent!

Rustic Northern Italian cuisine, award winning wine list. Causal dining. Family friendly. Banquet and caterings
We've been to Paesano's several times but not for years and wondered if the food would be as good. It did not disappoint! I had a delicious pear and gorgonzola salad; my companion had a tasty pasta dish. They brought very tasty bread as well. The service was excellent and friendly. Even though we were eating late for lunch, there were still a number of people in the restaurant. We never felt rushed and the ambiance is lovely. They also sell a very nice selection of excellent wines by the bottle to take home at a variety of prices.Thank you for taking the time to post. Welcome back! We have a seasonal menu that is always changing. Look out for our new Fall Menu starting Oct 3. Always my favorite creations from the year.Have a great night.Michelleruggero

Visited on a Monday, perhaps the second string was working. Great Flatbread, average small plate duck wings. Great offering for entree's, can get half orders. Both were very bland and under-seasoned, no salt on the table, screwed. Rye spaetzle was mushy, not enough gluten. Dessert was a HOMERUN!!!!! I'd go back just for them.

We were regulars 20/25 years ago, and not disappointed in our recent return. Just a block off of Main Street, but you are not likely to find the restaurant by accident. It is downstairs with a minimal street level presence. (Elevator available) The entryway still features exposed plumbing and electrical pipes and conduits. Without a recommendation from a reliable source one might be concerned about what to expect. Although the servers were busy, they were informed, pleasant and attentive. Food seemed more upscale than we remembered, but still very well prepared and served. We had the bruschetta, duck and salmon puff pastry. Portions were ample and the wine list provided interesting choices, both by the bottle and by the glass. Did not have room for desert. We will not be waiting 20+ years for our next reservation.

Enjoyed every minute of this experience. Staff was very friendly & attentive. We chose to have our meal on the upstairs patio. The only downside is that the stairway is dark, & some people might have trouble maneuvering this area. The menu is great. Vegan, vegetarian, lactose free, & gluten free options are available. Parking can be problematic.
