At the thought of my favourite curry delivered by my favourite curry restaurant I couldn't resist...However....After a 40 minute wait the food turned up. Happy days.Shish kebab was superb with the garlic nan. There were extras included, sauces and salad. I had a prawn ceylon which unfortunately for me was shocking and bland with barely no taste or flavour and half a pint of water in it aswell!!! Not the normal prawn ceylon I have from this restaurant especially as I am a semi regular and had this meal many times!!!My partner had vegetable dupiazi with onion bhagee and plain nan and said hers was superb.Sorry guys if I could give no stars I would and I feel you have let yourselves down on this occasion.Next time I come in I'll be letting you know too

A few visits now since I like to eat the same foods from different restaurants to compare. Lights of India is top quality food at excellent prices. The Chicken Pathia is an excellent flavour and plenty of it. Chicken Tikka main is also recommended.Friendly staff and a delivery service complete a great takeaway. Two things however do stand out. The decor badly needs updating. It looks tired and unattractive and the lack of comfortable seating with some magazines or papers to read whilst waiting is also missing. Minor details for a place that sells great tasting food though and only an observation, not a complaint..

Visited the Rajasthan for a get together with our friends. Unfortunately we will not be returning as we all felt the experience overall was disappointing to say the least. The service was very poor...the only time the staff spoke to us was to take our orders....that literally is it! Don't get me wrong I do not want a waiter hanging over our table constantly but this was exceptionally poor....clearly they couldn't care less if their customers are enjoying their meals. Talking of food it was underwhelming and very pricey for what you got.

Weâre staying recently in the Premier Inn Poole and just for convenience on the first night we went to table table next door. The service was worse than poor, glasses left out not only for an hour or so on tables outside but overnight!!!! Nanchos looked like they had been thrown at a plate then thrown at a wall prior to service, pate tasted on nothing, surf and turf calamari tasty metallic and service was the slowest I think Iâve ever experienced! Would recommend McDonalds down the road over this place.

Visited on a Saturday night in August. When we arrived we realised that we had visited before - but the restaurant had changed its name.Food was good (as it had been previously) and we really enjoyed our curries; service was really good too. Restaurant could do with a bit of sprucing up as looking a bit tired (especially toilets)
