Best South Indian restaurant in New England area which serves Authentic Indian food
Lots of families already were seated when we arrived around 2 p.m. True to its name, this restaurant offered a number of rice dishes at its Saturday lunchtime buffet: goat, chicken and vegetable biryanis, mango rice etc. A gorgeous creamy cauliflower curry, cilantro chicken, an onion and pepper dish, and a paneer sauce all caught my eye. There were dozens of offerings, including appetizers, salad, naan, and kheer. Everything I tried was delicious. My 12-year-old marveled at how much she enjoyed her meal despite what her delicate palette perceived as "spicy." We'll definitely go back.

Indian Restaurant serving North Indian, South Indian, Hyderabadi Biryanis as well as Indo-Chinese delicious foods.
There is nothing better, in my opinion, than a really good restaurant literally sharing a building with a market that sells many of the ingredients for what you are enjoying. This building has been no fewer than 6 restaurants in the past few decades, and it's centrally located on Route 9, but having a market with the restaurant is a genius idea. Service is excellent, portions are large (my friend ordered the goat biryani and had to bring 2/3 home). Of course I am such a dork, I forgot which of the many chicken dishes I ordered, only that I really enjoyed it (next time I'll have to order a few to figure which it was). The one drawback was that there are several TVs which is not a problem in and of itself, but they were all different videos which is super distracting for me.

The star here is chicken karahi which is justifiably famous. Get it on the bone for the best flavor. This dish comes garnished with ginger, Indian green pepper, and cilantro. The curry is a little thicker than typical Indian curry. Delicious! The lentil soup is very good and the other dishes are solid. Do not miss the Karahi!

Full Authentic Indian Cuisine with great ambience and kids friendly environment. It also has bakery with fresh cookies, cakes and snacks. To add on, it has full service bar with variety of drinks.
Easily one of the best buffet i have ever had and the best in the Worcester, Firmingham areas. New items were very refreshing to see.. masala idly, shrikhand for dessert were very good. Chutney could've been better. Biriyani was very tasty. Would recommend Indians living around here to visit once atleast just to relish the great food.

This unassuming little restaurant in the side of Route 9 produces a very tasty range of high quality Punjabi dishes. I have sampled many of them over the years and they are all good. It seems amazing that something simple like a tomato soup can be turned into such a taste treat with expert use of Indian spices. If you want spicy hot, just ask; you can also ask for authentic âvery hotâ (my preference) but this is not for the faint of heart! Service is always excellent.
