This place could definitely improve on service. Very slow, very unprofessional. The food is good though. Customer service lacks big time - so if you don't mind the service, then go to this place and enjoy their Indian snacky items - skip out on their main courses (not that good) only their snacks/chats are good.

Bistro...Indian? Well, that's a new twist! Well my wife and I have never been to an Indian bistro before, so it's easy to say that this was the best, it is also an excellent Indian eatery. We both enjoyed our lunch platters immensely, and found the food freshly prepared to order. This alone is a welcome change from the typical lunchtime Indian eatery. I had an Indian lamb curry and my wife had a vegetable korma, both of which were excellent. Our server, Asma, was delightful and the ambience was bright, cheerful and upscale. What more what could be asked of a lunchtime eatery? Enough said. Highly recommended!

Really great food- every dish was awesome- great taste, lots of variety, fast service. This is a self serve place but we went twice because the food was so good. Try karai chicken, butter chicken, nan, biryani, chicken boti tandoori, bihari kebab , chai!!

Excellent chaat choices, my favorite is their chat patti special. Their Indo-Chinese food selection is appetizing as well. There are certain reviews here discrediting the management and service, I'm however unknown to the previous management hence no comparison there but the present one didn't seem disengaged to me, as I've always been received warmly all but the few times I've been here.

The ambiance is not fancy, with cement floors and old bollywood posters on the walls. But, the food is tasty and attractive. Everything was a little different from other great Indian food found around Atlanta. There were great vegetarian and vegan options. One surprise was their take on Sangria which I really liked.

When our appetizers arrived we were thrilled. They tasted great, and unlike many Indian restaurants, they were not greasy. However, we were hugely disappointed by the South Indian dishes-- supposedly their speciality. The sambhar was sweet, and nothing like sambhar in any South Indian home/restaurant I have visited! What's up with that?I would love to eat at Madras Mantra again-- but please make authentic South Indian Sambhar. If I wanted sweet sambhar I would go to the five other Gujarati restaurants in the area!
