On the way Paris to Normandy, we got lost so stayed in this hotel for a night. The room is small with a small bed. The bathroom is also tiny. The hallway was dark. It was quiet though. We also ate dinner at the attached restaurant downstairs. Very pretty décor but the food was only OK.

The hotel was easy to find and there is plenty of parking which is free. The hotel is located on a retail park and so there are amenities close by such as restaurants, supermarkets, petrol etc. There is a 15% discount for hotel guests at the Courte Paille restaurant next door. The person on reception was pleasant and helpful. You are given a personal code which works for keypads on the main entrance and your room. The wifi code is the same which makes things easy. The room and bathroom are spacious, clean and comfortable. There are blackout curtains and the hotel was very quiet and I slept very well. The only thing which was lacking for me was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room but there is a drinks and snack machine in reception and a microwave for reheating. Breakfast was copious. The coffee was good and the pastries were fresh. The eggs and bacon were tasty but rather cold. I paid about 70 euros which included breakfast which I thought was good value for money and I would recommend this hotel and I would try others in the chain

We had 2 dogs with us and stayed in a small annexe in the grounds. Spacious rooms, very comfortable, plenty of extras from water to a sewing kit. Shower very good - we had the upstairs room, blue room downstairs had a wet room. Breakfast a delight, good selection of pancake, baby croissant etc. You can buy local jams, cider and Calvados. Evening meal very good, a bit pricey perhaps, particularly the starters, but full of flavour. Animals positively welcomed, and there are many birds, donkeys etc in the spacious grounds.

This has got to be the WORST hotel that I have stayed in for the past 40 years. A mistake in the booking I had for a hotel outside Etretat on a weekend where every hotel in Upper Normandy was full lead to me le being 'offered' this hotel by the kind people at the Office du Tourism in Etretat.. if only I had known...Happy to just find a room for the night 35 km away..OK a 2 * hotel but at least it was somewhere to stay and it couldnt be that bad..could it? .Not having any other choice I should however have expected the worse when the owner of the hotel insisted that I take the 12.50 EUR breakfast with the booking...ON arrival .. it couldnt have been worse..an old hotel clearly in need of renovation, sticky carpets, decoration and furnishings from the 1950/60s..wafer thin walls with the neighbour playing the TV loud right through the night and banging the door. Well at least I could look forwad to the 12.50 EUR breakfast...Quelle surprise..absolutely terrible..home made crepes with mould on them..unhygenic jars of open jam..awful cutlery and crockery. I didnt stay long. Please dont stay here. I thought these type of hotels no longer existed...they shouldnt do. And certianly not for 100 EUR per night they demanded as soon as I arrived..! Next time Ill sleep in t he car.
