This was our second stay at Hotel Ryumeikan. This time we had a standard double room no view. For 3 nights it was fine. Not masses of space but enough for 2 of us. Small tatami area at the end of the bed where you can sit at a small table. The room had everything you could possibly need (except a bottle opener which we were able to borrow). There is everything else though. Slippers, shoe trees for your shoes, yakatas and Japanese nightshirts as well as all manner of toiletries. The shower was great - didn’t want to ever come out. We didn’t eat at the hotel but there is an Excelsior cafe almost next door where you can have breakfast and many nearby restaurants for dinner as well as many restaurants in the station. As others have said the hotel is very close to the station ( but not noisy) so you can easily get from the airport on the Narita express and you can easily get around Tokyo on the local trains ( if you have a JR pass) or on the metro. You just have to find the Yaesu north entrance. This is challenging when you first arrive but Yaesu south or central are also ok. You just have to walk along the side of the station to the north end. We found the hotel good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. Though we didn’t see much of them as the rooms are on floors below reception. I would highly recommend this hotel for tourists or business travellers.

The hotel is just five minutes' walk from Tokyo Station, the core of Japan's railway network including the Bullet Train lines. With some bus terminals also close by, this is the perfect place to begin your trip throughout Japan. The hotel also features many connecting rooms, which are popular among families and guests traveling in groups.
Accommodation is located in a good location - near Tokyo station, and plenty of eateries in the vincinity. Yaesu Sakura Dori (八重洲さくら通り), one of the popular places to see cherry blossoms in Tokyo, is just nearby. Room is nice and clean.

I ahve been staryhing at the Yaesu Pearl for nigh on 20 years...since it opened. I have been to Japan 58 times since 1983 (because of COVID the last visit was February of 2020) and while it is not the Imperial Palace or New Otani, for my needs (5 minute walk from Tokyo Station Nihombashi North Entrance) and 2 minutes from the B13 Exit at Mitsukoshimae Station - Hanzomon Line from TCAT) it is ideally situated. If you want the comforts and price of the Royal Park, then forget it. I have never, ever had an issue with the staff or the cleanliness of the facility. I have never had an issue with language (English) and the staff. If you are uncertain about your skills in Nihongo, then go to a Prince Hotel and pay gobs more $$. Your choice. For me, I will be staying there, again, this October. Mata ne!

Thank you for your interest about us. There is one thing we have to tell you. Our hotel name will be changed from 1st April. New name is "Superhotel Premier Tokyo Station Yaesu Chuo-guchi". It is our new challenge to be better. We appreciate your patronage from the bottom of our heart. Thank you.
Very convenient to reach many places, and the room is very clean and bright. Surely, it is very small as many Japanese hotels. The staff are very nice and provides many advices. If for a simple stay, it is a good choice and will have a great rest!

We have rarely had a disappointing room in Japan. We stayed for one night as part of a tour. We have stayed often in Japanese hotels which are small but this was the smallest we have stayed in. The room was minute and we could not open the suitcases on the floor. The breakfast which was included was substandard. Whilst this is very conveniently located near the station, there are better value options nearby which are slightly more expensive yet bigger.
