It was very difficult to put a four star review here because there were parts of the stay that were absolutely five star quality. We split our time on the island between the four seasons and belmond, thus providing a great comparator. Hands down the beach is phenomenal and cannot be beat. The villas are a mere few steps from your personal lounge chairs. The water is crystal clear and calm like a pool. Our suite was very nice and again, the location is amazing. For the things that can be improved, it would largely be related to service. For instance, as we were leaving, an hour before we had to leave for the airport we called to have our luggage taken down the flight of stairs for us and my 70+ year old parents. Well it never came and my husband was forced to carry all down as we rushed out to try to make our flight. As another example, on the first day at the beach, service was amazing and our wet towels were replaced throughout the day with fresh dry towels. Each day thereafter the service was poor by the beach. No one came by for service and on our third day, our attendee told us a minimum of five times that it was her last day before we left because she was off, with the clear suggestion that she wanted more money before she left. As another example, the dining is extremely over priced for the quality. We walked to cap shack one day for snacks and the guacamole was clearly store bought (and the chips were stale) unlike the fresh guacamole available throughout the island and even at cipps for breakfast. When we are at cipps for dinner, we were all very uncomfortable with the service. For starters, we were not told house water was available so went on to spend nearly $40 on water. Then the servers were constantly at our table to the point that it was uncomfortable to have a conversation because they were essentially part of it. Overall, it was a great experience and again, it is worth going for the beach alone. You just may want to split your time at Four seasons, where they have perfected service.

This was our second visit with our first time being in 2019. The first time we came we had some hiccups, but given the beautiful location, wanted to try again. We are so glad we did because it exceeded all our expectations. Our luggage was lost traveling to the island so we were missing some of our stuff from the start and the front desk quickly provided us these really nice leather pouches with travel items. I have been the victim of lost luggage many times at many hotels and this was the nicest collection of items I have ever seen. The rooms are beautiful and the views of the ocean are stunning. The pool is as amazing as it appears in photos and makes for some great photographs! The most impressive part of the four seasons is the service though and all the extra ways they go above and beyond. For instance, throughout the day at the pool and beach, they being by samples of drinks and food. It provides a nice snack and we ended up liking some things enough to go on and order it! They also provide canisters with ice and water when at the beach and pool. These canisters were regularly refreshed! Each staff member was so friendly and so willing to go above and beyond. At the pool one day, I asked if I could have a drink that was not on the menu and the friendly server (shout out to Aiden!) responded, you are at the four seasons, anything is possible! That was absolutely our experience and we will be back. Only downside is that the beach is a little choppier than I would prefer, but that cannot be changed.

When it opened over 30 years ago, Malliouhana put Anguilla on the map as the romantic getaway. The oceanfront resort continues to set the standard for modern day island glamour set atop a bluff that rolls down to pristine white sands and azure-blue sea. From vibrant island cuisines to Caribbean seaside adventures, the Malliouhana family brings the magic of Anguilla to your doorstep. Add in new offerings including spacious beachfront accommodations, a cascading infinity pool that seems to drop off into the sea below, and a beach bar that epitomizes toes-in-the-sand relaxation, and a new era for Malliouhana has arrived. Come to lounge amidst the privacy of Turtle Cove, soak up the sun on the island's best beach at Meads Bay, or take in Anguilla's rich and dynamic culinary scene. You'll feel at home with our easy island lifestyle -and with the Malliouhana family.
I recently attended and officiated a wedding at the Malliouhana resort in Anguilla and came away very impressed with the level of excellence , service quality, staff all surrounded by lush beautiful property with stunning views. The mark of a well run property is when the GM is away (this one on Annual Home leave), the Property runs without skipping a beat and this one surely does, Even before my arrival, I spent time working back and forth with all of the Concierges and was thrilled to be able to meet each of them in person to thank and acknowledge their care and attention to our group’s multiple requests. All were met. My appreciation to the Front desk for also taking great care of us and I had a chance to thank each of them in person. Kudos to the FOM Raquel Fleming who gave us not only a great suite but ensured any and all requests were met with speed and accuracy. Kudos to Events Director Adalberto and his staff who ensured ethe entire Wedding itself went off without a hitch and spent time with me personally to take care of minor details. The folks at Celeste, the bar, the pool were all awesome. Thanks to Corporate Shan who helped communications flowing. Finally special recognition to Victor at the Bell desk who was constantly helping us move from one location to the next, always with a smile and always helpful. He quickly became a favorite of our family. He is a shining example of the great hospitality of the Property. I hope he is well recognized. Finally a note to my fellow guests. The service above came from very hard working staff. Please be appreciative and although not required, and never asked, please show your appreciation by taking care of these amazing employees who live on a very expensive island. CEO Craig Reed says that he wants each property of Auberge to be distinctly unique. This resort clearly delivers!

Carimar Beach Club, located on the pristine white sands and turquoise waters of Meads Bay, is an exceptional beachfront resort. Each of our 24 suites offers unique, exquisitely appointed interiors featuring colorful, tropical motifs and exotic rattan furnishings. The spacious 1100 square foot beachfront and beach view suites feature all the comforts of home including: full, modern kitchens with granite counters; a living room and bedroom with flat-screen cable TVs and WiFi; a dining area accommodating six people; and a balcony or patio with stunning ocean views and spectacular sunsets. Enjoy our Caribbean styled air-conditioned bedrooms with crisp linens. All suites offer one or two bedrooms and one or two bathrooms. En-Suite King Bedroom. Twin Bedroom with two beds. All units offer full A/C in the living areas and bedrooms. There is a brand new fitness center on-site as well as tennis courts, free bikes, free snorkeling gear, and a free new laundry center.
After three years and three canceled trips, we returned to Carimar this May for a two week stay. It was stay number ten for us. For those not familiar with Carimar, it consists of six buildings with four units in each building. You have the option to rent a one or two bedroom unit. While we did not cook dinner, we used the kitchen to make breakfast, lunch and happy hour snacks. All the units are steps away from a beautiful section of Meads Bay. Bathrooms are beautifully updated, and the units are fully air conditioned. We used the air conditioning in the bedroom but did not need to use it in the main living area. Windows and blinds had been replaced and the entire complex recently repainted. Landscaping is lush and provided us with a number of photo opportunities. I especially loved the reserved beach set up. So nice to know where you are sitting and that your chairs and umbrellas are waiting for you whenever you get to the beach. Please make this a permanent feature! On previous trips we noticed a number of people claiming chairs early in the morning. The office staff is the best. I had a lot of questions regarding protocols and testing and they answered all my questions. The GM, Rolf, reviewed our pre-arrival Covid tests to make sure they were acceptable. The ladies in the office will make dinner reservations for you, schedule your departing Covid test, and provide concierge services. Carimar will also stock your unit with groceries prior to your arrival with advance notice. Can't forget to mention that you can place an order with the front office the night before for goodies from Village Bakehouse. Carimar always exceeds my expectations and I can't wait to return!

Great no frills hotel. Great value for money. Best location! Betania and Jacquie were so awesome. Super helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean. We loved Mango restaurant down the beach! Our driver was Leslie and he was so nice. We will be back BTW having a washer and dryer in the room was so nice.
