Reviewed By Holger BStood for a night and got very nice food for dinner The single bed room are more kids as the beds are very tiny not suitable for adults If you book than go for a double room Rooms are outdated but might still fit to the rustically local made environment

Reviewed By monicaokeckLocated in beautiful hilly surroundings. Exceptional service and friendly staff. Very good cuisine. Comfortable and extremely clean facility. Very good for families as well as they offer family suits. Wellness and swimming available. Nice place to come back to at any time.

Reviewed By BSommer64Ein stark in die Jahre gekommener Campingplatz in den offensichtlich seit 30 Jahren nichts reininvestiert wurde. Die Idee mit den eingezäunten Parzellen für Camper mit Hunden ist super. Allerdings sind die Zäune teilweise schon wirklich marode. Wenig Wasseranschlüsse. Dauercampingparzellen teilweise ungepflegt. Uns hat der Platz so garnicht gefallen und haben konsequenterweise den Aufenthalt abgebrochen und einen anderen Campingplatz angesteuert. Ein Pluspunkt geben wir für die sauberen, beheizten Sanitäranlagen.

Central location in the outskirts of Viechtach
Reviewed By HHooverThe Schwarzholz feriendorf holiday village is a small group of five appartment blocks in chalet style in the outskirts of Viechtach. It is a peaceful place overlooking woods and Farmland. There are nice playgrounds and due to the fact that the village is on a dead end of the road, kids are safe to play. There is a small inside pool for guests only. The appartments are relatively small but clean and comfortable. It looks like most appartments are privately owned as they all are differently decorated. Most appartments have really small outdoor space so be careful in summer when booking. We had a great time. reception is helpfull and friendly. The village itself is in need of a renovation as things get outdated and lack maintance (appartments, pool, childrens zoo). Animation (presented on the website) is a laugh. Only the youngest will last for more than a day. Never seen someone lacking so much ambition and creativity as the lady who runs the program. Each appartment has an underground garage, but as these are small parking places which sometimes are difficult to access (not suitable for SUV and vans), a lot of cars are parked in the village, causing parking problems and a spoilt horizon. There are a lot of things to do around Viechtach, so defenitely a good place to stay.

Accommodations nice but staff not welcoming
Reviewed By QueenBee0301We spend four nights here while traveling the area; the accommodations were sufficient but the staff was not welcoming and made little attempt to speak to us in English. The town was very welcoming and the area beautiful in the spring. I would return to the area, but stay somewhere else.
