Reviewed By reneswanepoel2019Cozy little gem in Van Rhynsdorp. A friendly welcome and clean and neat rooms. The property is also well looked after, beautiful views from the braai area at each room. Inviting pool in the summer. Breakfast was n feast, freshly prepared.

Reviewed By retha2022First time staying at the lodge and we had such a good time. The staff are friendly, food were top -notch (especially the steak) and we even played some pool in the bar area. Thank hou to the owners and staff for a great experience. We will definitely see you soon again.

Fully equipped cottages with excellent views of the Maskam and Gifberg mountains. The farm is very safe and offer warm hospitality. The location is ideal to discover the beautiful area.

Victorian in style, the house was originally built in 1916 and still retains much of its original character and charm. We, your hosts Ernest and Herbert and our staff, invite you to make yourselves at home and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our lodgings. Reviewed By ilnevWe stayed at Van Rhyn Guest House twice in December 2020. What a delight! Central location, option of various eateries close by, attentive hosts caring for your every need, great breakfast. Spacious and squeeky clean rooms with high ceilings, kettles in the rooms plus a coffee station in the communal guest lounge, which is huge and can accommodate large meetings. Further: art gallery, various tastefully decorated, intimate nooks and niches, a large and very private swimming pool and, most important: mosquito repellant and great air-conditioning! Also good quality linen and elegant decor that enhances the simple, stately spirit of the beautifully renovated old building. Overall: In my experience, best value for money ever.
