Hotel Gran Paradiso, in the middle of Gran Paradiso Park (at an altitude of 2000 mt), is a perfect destination for people who love nature and quietness in a wonderful environment. Our hotel has eighteen rooms, a restaurant for hotel guests and a nice private lounge with cheamny where you can spend some time reading a book or simply relaxing yourself at the end of the day. In the building it's present a bar/self-service, where all people coming in Valsavarenche looking for mountains and Park animals contact could make a lunch stop Our hotel is a not-smoking structure. We would accept your pets, but it is not allowed to introduce them in common rooms. Hotel is closed in October and November.

After the top hikes uou have a nice bar. They also give good advice for the hikes. And last but not least the view from the terras

Reviewed By srnwoodWe visited this hotel and national park because Nicole was attending a conference across the street at the Municipal building. One of the first things you notice about this hotel is how clean it is-- due to the efficient, dedicated and cheerful staff. During the day, I was the only guest present and with no Italian at hand, I was free to stumble around the quiet and historic building as well as the conversations with host Maria who had no English at hand. Everything was wonderful! Maria used her computer to translate some helpful information, and I had at least two cappuccinos each morning. Breakfast was more than ample. The price of the room included a splendiferous breakfast spread with homemade jams, cereals, eggs, waffles, croissants, and so on. The dinner we had was divine, and the handmade gnocchi were the best we ever had! I loved exploring the hotel's nooks and crannies as well as the valley and mountains on every side. My room was on the third floor with sunny windows facing the mountains. Everywhere was polished wood, and everything was well kept. And yes, the Wifi worked extremely well. Towels were thick and plentiful and bathroom had soap and kleenex. Desperate for some laundry, I enlisted Maria's help. She graciously washed one small load for us-- synthetics because there is no dryer and we weren't staying long enough to dry blue jeans. So kind! All in all, this is indeed a special place in an extraordinary setting, and we loved this little inn at the foot of the mountain. Clearly, it's been treating people well for centuries.

We Are In The Heart Of The National Park Of The Great Paradise Place For Mountaineers And Lovers Of Wild Nature. We Have 6 Rooms All With Bathroom All With Panoramic Views. Breakfast Is Included In The Price.
Truly a paradise
Reviewed By T SThe B&B is a few mins away from the village centre. It is on a ledge with a magnificent view of the town, the river and the opposing mountainside. The rooms are new and the family who run the B&B are lovely. They helped me call some hotels in the next towns I would be travelling to. The breakfast is good - tea, coffee, cereal, fruit, yogurt, jam, bread. The area is fantastic, surrounded by the mountains with a large river passing through. Even in the hot summer, it was perfectly cool at night which made it a very comfy sleep with the duvet provided. Last but not least, the value of the place is incredible at only 35 a night for a double. It's a shame this B&B isn't shown on the price comparison sites because it would blow competitors away. If visiting the Aosta Valley region, this is definitely the place to stay.

Reviewed By angelakidnerWe were walking for 5 days from Champorcher to Rhemes Notre Dame and after a tough climb and long descent from Col Lauson we were welcomed to this spotless agriturismo with cups of tea and big bedrooms, clean and well-planned bathrooms and a really delicious dinner. We ate 'en famille' with the other guests and enjoyed the local dishes and wine, which was included in the very reasonable demi-pension price. The proprietor was charming and very helpful with advice. We would recommend this place to all travellers and walkers in the beautiful Val d'Aosta.

Reviewed By GreeneUkI stayed half board at this hotel to do some walking in the valley. The hotel and restaurant were both excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is a family run establishment which does a brilliant job!
