Clean, warm and friendly. The NEW Gem of the Highlands and fully refurbished by the new owners during lockdown. We like to ensure all of our guests have a most comfortable and relaxed stay with us as we pride ourselves in paying attention to every small detail; be it the Scottish shortbeads with tea or coffee; the Scottish Sea Kelp soaps and shampoos in each room; or our signature White Stag Scottish breakfast - baby mushrooms, baked beans, haggis, black pudding, tattie scone, vine tomatoes, Lorne sausage, bacon and eggs of your choice. If called upon, and for a small supplement, we can even provide a breakfast for our four-legged friends. Yes, we're a pet friendly Inn too!
We stayed one night as a stopover on our way to the Highlands and was met by friendly staff. We were given a lovely room with large bed and super facilities which included fresh coffee and fresh milk in mini fridge. Clean and tidy room with lovely decor. We ate in the restaurant and the only disappointment was that there wasn’t much left on the menu as they had been busy so stocks were low. Our meal was ok but a bit disappointing and there were no other eateries nearby. Overall a good little pub with friendly staff.

An elegant Victorian house situated within the village of Strathyre in central Scotland. Rosebank House is located in attractive countryside in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park within easy reach of Glen Coe, Fort William, Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Ideal for hiking, fishing golf or just relaxing in our garden, lounge or conservatory.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days stay at Rosebank B&B with both sets of our parents. Our hosts, Sharon and Davide, could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. We loved the delicious dinner and breakfasts they prepared complete with home-made bread and preserves. They were even able to accommodate gluten-free requests. Lots of lovely walks and hiking nearby the house, and if you preferred to stay closer to home there was the cosy conservatory and beautiful garden just bursting with spring flowers and bird song. Our rooms were well appointed, very comfortable and spotless. We felt very much at home and well looked after. The icing on the cake were their two sheep dogs - Wallace and Nessie who were such joy to have around. Would highly recommend Rosebank and look forward to visiting again!

Welcome to Creagan House, a seventeenth-century former farmhouse, set in the stunning Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The five comfortable guest rooms are furnished with antiques, fine quality fabrics and beautiful wall coverings. The lounge is a perfect place to relax and enjoy working your way through the extensive list of malts from the bar. It almost goes without saying that a hearty Scottish breakfast with many locally sourced products awaits you for the perfect start to your day. Although only an hour from Edinburgh or Glasgow, when you walk into Creagan House you will feel a million miles away. It is ideally located for touring, and with the Strathyre forest and Rob Roy Way accessible directly from the property it’s an excellent base for those wishing to walk or cycle.
We were greeted by Rob (and then met a Milan)at the door of this lovely Inn from 1635! They could not have been more welcoming. The room was small (1635!!!) but beautifully appointed and the bathroom was fantastic. They supplied super soft robes and slippers for us. A wonderful bed with extremely soft sheets made for a peaceful night’s sleep. The breakfast couldn’t have been better; one of us is a vegan and they went out of their way to accommodate this. I would highly recommend staying at this lodging!!

My wife found this great place online and it was brilliant, the location is perfect for scenery and the amenities surrounding Strathyre we both honestly cannot recommend this highly enough, from the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm friendly welcome from owners Ken and Mandy and their son Andrew who provided us with all the information we needed to make the most of our break, the rooms are spotless and very spacious and as we used the kitchen area for self catering everything was clean and available to use freely, they have a lovely seating area out the back which is a nice little sun trap where you can enjoy some of the delicious hand made fudge and toffee the owners make aswell as a games room with dart board and full size snooker table which we made the most of along with a large hot tub also which is perfect to relax in in the evenings, there is plenty to do in the surrounding location such as walking trails, a nice little cafe, a friendly pub and local shop so we were kept busy. Our car was parked right outside the location where on entering you can also sit taking in the view next to the firepit/barbecue. We loved our visit here and will definitely be back in the near future with our family, we’ve made new friends with the owners and look forward to staying in touch with them.
