Located in the city center and spread over six acres, Quetta Serena Hotel is prominently located on Shahrah-e-Zarghoon in the Cantonment area. The hotel is conveniently accessible from all parts of the country and is linked by air, rail, and road network. It has a character of its own. It has incorporated many stunning architectural and decorative elements of the local Baloch people - famed for their chivalry and martial prowess. Traditional arts and crafts, decorative patterns and other graphic designs found throughout the plush interior of the hotel are an affirmation of pride in the local culture and aesthetic traditions. With stunning mountain views on all sides, the hotel is set amid flower-filled courtyards with fountains and water channels around the fruit orchards. It provides guests with first-class amenities and a world of luxury where the service is warm and gracious. From the doormen to the reception, to the room service and everything in between, it promises to make each one's stay a memorable one.
Quetta Serena Hotel is the only hotelon Shahrah-e-Zarghoon in the Cantonment area of the city. It can be easily be accessed from all parts of the city. We drove from Karachi to Quetta and this is the only 5-Star hotel with good cooperative staff. Room are expensive but the comfort is well placed. Breakfast was really good and filling with the different variety. You can witness the mountain views from all sides of the hotel filled with amid flower-filled courtyards with fountains and water channels around the fruit orchard. One of the only decent place in the city I can recommend to stay. Market and food access is nearby. They have also an free airport pickup and drop service complimentary. Malls are nearby so you can enjoy the market.

Lourdes is old style, budget hotel. We used to visit in our childhood when it was run by a family friend. It seems it is still frozen in time. It is not very modern but it is decent. Lovely green lawn, rose bushes and old trees with bird houses. I hope tourism comes back to our sleepy town of Quetta soon!
Zulfiqar hotel is a decent budget choice if you are traveling to Quetta whether its for visit purpose or for any business purpose. Most of the rooms are around grassy courtyard that adds a much needed touch of green. Free WIFI service is available in all rooms.

Horrible place - don’t go here if you can avoid it!!!! We arrived around midnight in Quetta and had to stay 2 nights. They charged us 3000 rupees for sleeping in the car - per night! Orher overlanders paid 800 rupees some weeks earlier. We argued and argued but we also could not leave, because for that we need a police escort. Bad luck and it spoiled our impression of Pakistan, sadly. Also the two people in charge - not the owner - are just bored by their jobs. But I guess that is just what happens if you are more interested to look into your mobile phone than managing a place...
