Steeped in history, The Feathers Hotel is an old Posting and Market Inn dating back to Elizabethan times. The inn underwent extensive reconstruction in the early 19th century, whilst still retaining some of its original features and has benifitted from refurbishment over the past couple of years underthe present ownership. Situated in a prime location within the town of Pocklington. Conveniently situated for York and the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds. A warm friendly welcome awaits you at The Feathers Hotel. With 16 en-suite rooms/chalets, and a sizeable relaxing bar, offering a selection of Real Ales. We offer an extensive Restaurant, with homemade food prepared fresh using locally sourced produce. All dietary requirements are catered
Great hotel, large rooms (stayed in one of the lodges), bathroom was brand new with walk in shower. Hotel nicely furnished, good beer, friendly staff. Central to the town but rooms were very quiet. Nice beer garden and off street parking. Would recommend for the £80 I paid.

A warm welcome awaits everyone at The Yorkway Motel. Our new lounge is warm and inviting either for a coffee or a nice cool beer. Our restaurant caters for all from our Homemade Steak & Ale pie to something a little different. Our Refurbished rooms are all on one level and easy access parking makes the Yorkway well worth a visit.
Lovely staff and easy checking in and check out. clean and comfortable room with tea/ coffee facilities . Exactly what it says on the tin! Good value for the price. Food hot , freshly cooked and well presented and a good value breakfast. Asked to substitute fried egg for poached and it was absolutely no problem at all. Would definitely visit again .

Relish the indulgent comfort of a boutique hotel in the peace and quiet of your own private hideaway. The KP offers luxury woodland lodges for 3-4 night stays as well as brand new hotel style lodges which is set in 180 acres of glorious woodlands in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds. With contemporary interiors, private outdoor hot tubs and amazing views, The KP is the perfect retreat. Award winning food and drink is available a few minutes' walk away in the Glasshouse, and you can always pick up a bottle of something special to enjoy back in your lodge. There's a laid-back pace here: all you have to do when you check in is relax.
This is by far one of the worst, albeit most expensive hotels I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. The heating in the room was broken (apparently a common issue according to the service engineer) and was not fixed during our stay instead we was given a portable heater to use from reception in an attempt to heat up the whole room, what a joke! In addition to this the hot tub was also broken (again we were told this apparently happens a lot) and we was completely unable to use it throughout our stay which was the main reason we booked! The staff couldn’t care less about any of this and just fed us with excuses. I found the whole customer service absolutely disgusting, especially when we had paid so much extra for a room with a hot tub! The rooms are filthy especially the bathrooms, they are just COVERED in mould but this was the least of our problems. They rooms are also very poorly constructed and so you can hear virtually every word spoken from the neighbouring rooms making it hard to sleep and privacy is just non existent. We was adjacent to a family with a baby so had little to no sleep. This is just poor for a “luxury” hotel, when you pay so much to go away for the night and not get a wink of sleep! Following all of the above we complained throughout our stay and tried to resolve the issues but as mentioned the customer service is disgusting as the staff are beyond unhelpful once they have already taken your money. We had checked in at 2pm and wasn’t offered another room until 7:30pm despite CONSTANT complaints. As we declined the room with it being so late on and we just wanted to settle down by this point as we was leaving in the morning they then used this as an excuse to only offer us a pitiful partial refund of £100 (not even in line with one of their other rooms that doesn’t have a hot tub never mind a room with heating that works!). Such a horrible experience for a £270 room for one night, I’ve never felt as robbed. We didn’t think we was asking for much to expect it to be what we paid for and simply up to standard but apparently so with such major issues and how the hotel dealt with the whole situation! I honestly wouldn’t be paid to stay here again.

Stopped one night while visiting Pocklington. Good location, only a 10 minute walk into the market square. Good sized room, clean and comfortable bed, nice hot shower. No toiletries, so take your own. Breakfast is left outside your room (cereal, yoghurt, toast) which suited us as then you can please yourself and get off when ready. Nice host. Good place to stay when travelling through Yorkshire.
