Grotty, falling apart, inhospitable
Reviewed By Lauren BThe manager insisted we pay in full before we arrived, and I now understand why. We left after two hours and are still waiting on our refund. The room was grotty, there were holes in the walls including around a power outlet, broken tiles in the bathroom, the rickety blinds were coming off the railing, fitted cupboards in the bedroom and bathroom, were worn and tarnished, and one door wouldn't close at all. The bath had a disturbing stain in the bottom. The wifi was dial-up speed, and couldn't tolerate more than one device at a time, the pool was cloudy and poorly maintained. We checked out and asked for a refund and the manager informed us "the owner doesn't do that". This is illegal under South Africa's Consumer Protection Act, article 54. As is fraudulently representing your accommodation as four star rating, when it is clearly not.

Great quiet lodge in the heart of the Northern suburbs
Reviewed By bgrant722Tastefully appointed we rented the two bedroom apartment which had a fully functional kitchen. All very clean and well maintained. WiFi was good and tv selection plentiful. Breakfast was a traditional full English breakfast in a very cute breakfast area overlooking the garden. The bird life in the garden is active and peaceful to sip on your coffee in the morning. Value for Money it is hard to beat.

Terrible!!
Reviewed By heidimarilPhotos are SO deceiving!! Place is horrible, not maintained at all! Dirty, things are broken, hardly get through to owner when calling. Some plugs are not working, taps are broken in the bathroom the list goes on. They do not give refunds even though it’s false advertising. Would not recommend at all!!
