Hyatt Place National Harbor offers an idyllic destination to explore the nation’s capital or do an easy weekend getaway in Maryland. Enjoy the picturesque Waterfront District while you are staying close to notable spots like The Capital Wheel, MGM National Harbor, Theater at MGM National Harbor, Tanger Outlets, and more.
Beautiful room, great location! Parking is not included, but no issues with using the lot nearby. The restaurant was also fantastic, with wonderful service all around. All staff were nice and professional.

Horrible experience overall, paid $700 a night for 7 days yet no house keeping, bathroom flooding due to cheap shower curtains, poor service, broken glass yet no one want to vacuum floors and lack of basic customer service. Stay elsewhere or better air bnb as this is not up to par to prices being asked.

Excellent avenue for conferences - I was there for CMSC 2022. Clean hotel, great location, view and amenities on site. A lot of restaurant options a few minutes away on foot. Honestly, not much to critique beside the quite lacking flexibilty with breakfast options on site.

We typically stay at the Gaylord when we take trips into the DC, National Harbor area, but wanted to try something different this year. We will not be returning to the Westin. We had breakfast twice in the hotel. On Saturday we were sat right away, which was nice even though the kitchen service was a little slow. We returned Sunday for breakfast again at the same time, but was told there was a 30 minute wait because they were full. My family and I looked at each other in disbelief because it was clearly not full and there were plenty of empty tables. We chose to valet our car in hopes that made things easier. Well when we provided the ticket after we checked out the gentlemen pulled multiple cars at once and could not remember which car/ticket belonged to us. We were also not made aware that you had to request room cleanings. We are ok with not having daily room cleanings I understand that everyone is struggling with staffing, but we were not made aware of any of this while checking in. Communication is always key if you ask me and then we know what to expect. We will not be returning to this hotel when our experiences at other local hotels have been better.

We stayed here for business. My husband was attending a convention nearby and we booked a 3 night 4 days stay at the Ac Hotel. The hotel doesn’t really have a big sign outside. The building just looks like any other building with restaurants on the main floor. We were just glad that my husband and I got an Uber driver who is familiar with the area. We entered the glass sliding door with no hotel lobby, but 2 elevators and a flight of stairs. When we took the elevator, the hotel lobby was in fact on the 2nd floor. This hotel is a very good hotel to stay in overall. Our room was on the second floor as well which we didn’t mind because it was so convenient to go to the breakfast area in the morning. We had 2 queen beds and our room looked out into the beautiful quiet street with a park. I thought it would be noisy, but it wasn’t. The hotel is perfectly located amongst shops, restaurants, a candy store and it is just across the harbor where the Ferris Wheel is. The room is pricey though. At $343.28/ night with taxes, I heard it’s the cheapest room they have. The shower is tight. By that I mean, it is narrow. A big tall guy, like my husband won’t have enough elbow room to shower. The shower is just good for 1 person. There is no free breakfast as well. The breakfast is about $13/person. There’s no scrambled eggs or bacon or biscuits and gravy. It’s more on pastries, scrambled eggs shaped like a cupcake, some cheese, prosciutto, boiled eggs, fruits, and cereal. The coffe is not even free. Guests have to pay about $3 for a cup of coffee. When we first checked in, there was 1 complimentary coffee, just one. Housekeeping no longer replenished the coffee in the room and we were their for 4 days. Would I still check in this hotel? If I can find something better with a much better deal, probably not. The beds and our sleep quality is the same as the other good hotels we stayed in. This is why I’m just giving it a 3 star rating.

The newly renovated Hampton Inn & Suites National Harbor- Alexandria hotel in Maryland is located in Oxon Hill's National Harbor area adjacent to the Gaylord Convention Center and just minutes from our Nation's Capital and all the Washington DC area has to offer. A short drive from both Reagan National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport, guests will find easy access to the hotel and area attractions including National Harbor Marina, Arlington National Cemetery and FedEx Field, home of the NFL Washington Redskins.
Wasn’t a bad stay or experience. I would stay again if I was looking for a budget location. Didn’t do much in the area but there is a lot around if you are looking for some outside things to get involved in.
