This property is in a beautiful location 15 km from Carcassone. It is close to the quaint village of Monreal which has essential shops, a good restaurant /bar and a good supermarket. We did our shopping there and cooked at home in the kitchen of the property. The owner is really nice, helpful and speaks good English. Although the property is old it is very comfortable and being on top of a hill, has great views over the Aude River Valley. We would recommend it as a peaceful place to stay but in easy reach of Carcassonne.

Flo and jean-michel are pleased to welcome you to"la belle vie" in the village of Montreal, located near the beautiful city of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi and the Cathar castles. We offer, in the heart of the village, 4 rooms with bathroom and private toilets, television, wifi, terraces and to relax a pool, parking and a view of the Pyrenees
The facilities are worn, the linens are cheap, and the decor appears to have been purchased at flea markets. The breakfast was ready made, and not always fresh - not renewed daily, with used confiture spoons not washed daily, placemats and tablecloth not wiped down, and the same fruit in the bowl for four days... We were in the area for a business purpose and needed to leave three days early for an appointment. We were charged the equivalent of an extra night for leaving early. We won’t return to La Belle Vie.

Camellas-lloret is the culmination of our love affair with france and our desire to share it with you. we have renovated our 18th-century home with your comfort in mind, but have left its old-world charm intact. camllelas-lloret is in the center of the picturesque village of montreal, in the pays cathare, 15 minutes from carcassonne. use us as your base to explore chateaux, abbeys, vineyards and the canal du midi, or just come to chill out and enjoy the calm.
Staying in someone's home in another country is amazing. Having the opportunity to talk with them about their every day life is quite an adventure. The location of the facility is such that we parked in a nearby parking lot and walked up - the road is VERY narrow! Cathy and Jean Marie were excellent hosts. We were there two nights and our dates were in between other guests. We had picked up a sandwich in Arles on our way and had some wine left over from one of our stops - thus we were set for dinner; we ate on the upstairs outdoor balcony near our upstairs room. The village is small and there isn't anywhere really close by to eat. The 2nd night we walked up the hill to the village and purchased cheese, meats, olives and bread for our dinner. Since we were driving we didn't want to be out after dark in the car. This is a small village and there is a beautiful church nearby that rings the bells in the evening and morning (call to prayer)! Jean Marie prepared our lovely breakfast both mornings with Cathy popping in to chat (they share this duty depending on their work schedule). The courtyard is charming and the weather was perfect. Jean Marie also drew us a map and told us of nearby places to see and eat. We had a lovely day touring around Caracassone and other little nearby villages.

Come a Guest House "Le Mas Rose" created by Nina & Nino on 2011 in the Old Viticole wine with modern ammenagement.Open the shutters and discover a small village and neighborhoods. All 3 bedrooms for different style are equiped with 160cm beds, TV, sheets, hair drier.
We really enjoyed our stay, Nina and Nino were absolutely wonderful! The town was small and quiet, just what we wanted and the accommodation were perfect. We will definitely be staying there again! They recommended an excellent restaurant in the town of Montreal and we ended up eating there both nights.
