Set in the very centre of the ancient and characterful hill town of Miglionico, Residenza delle Grazie is a welcome contrast to the busy tourist city of Matera just 20 minutes’ drive away. It’s a great place to experience local hill town culture. The accommodation in a magnificently restored large town house is superb: large en-suite family rooms, breakfast bar with a good continental choice and coffee available all day, and a large sun terrace with magnificent sunsets. Your delightful host, Antonio, can provide you with advice on what to see, where to dine and just anything else that you care to ask.

Alcune piccole cose da migliorare
Reviewed By 240nick23Centrale al paese, ottima sistemazione ristrutturata di recente e con gusto. Si accede ad una hall con scale che portano alle varie camere. Personale gentile e disponibile. Però sono da evidenziare due punti non trascurabili: INSONORIZZAZIONE DELLE CAMERE: purtroppo dalla nostra camera si sentiva ogni singola parola detta dalla coppia della camera accanto. Durante la notte anche ogni singolo colpo di tosse o respiro profondo. Non ho il sonno leggero ma da una ristrutturazione cosi ben fatta e sicuramente un punto dolente. COLAZIONE: in un bar vicino si ha a disposizione una bevanda e una brioche. Davvero colazione misera se in relazione al prezzo della stanza e a sistemazioni simili in Basilicata. Dove siamo stati a Matera la colazione cosi offerta veniva considerata esclusa. Sicuramente necessario che venga integrata per garantire un tuo servizio.

Gorgeous place to stay!
Reviewed By Jeanine TMy husband and myself stayed for the second time at Residenza La Nivera. This year was my parents first time who joined us. We all are so very happy and just love staying here. Honesty, we are treated like family. Rooms are perfect and clean, restaurant and food are wonderful! And Francesco and Mary Elsa make your visit so special! Highly recommend it here! You are in a perfect location for Miglionico and the Castle is gorgeous! Two of the nights we were there at the castle for live music, bread making and so much more that Francesco has a helping hand in organizing. Very special place. We can not wait to return. Thank you Francesco and Mary Elsa for such a wonderful vacation. You have a beautiful family!

Nice place to stay
Reviewed By Elina LWe stayed there for only one night there but would like to be able to stay longer. Great view from roof terace. Terace is open for all rooms. Nice swimming pool. there is parking place for cars. Staff aren'T speaking in english, but everything works with signs and gestures :) There are living also three or four small dogs - very friendly :) Room was cleand and big, unfortunettly air-condition didn'T work properly. Dinner was very good!

PIACEVOLE SORPRESA!
Reviewed By monicadH6409QFAbbiamo prenotato in questa struttura per una notte tra Pasqua e Pasquetta per una visita ai Sassi di Matera ed è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. Ambiente immerso nel verde, tranquillo e silenzioso, camera pulita e dotata di ogni comfort, coccolati dal proprietario con un'ottima colazione. Auguriamo tanta fortuna per una ripresa perché merita!
