We arrived to check-in at our hotel after previously booking online. We arrived at 6:45 and were told that our reservation had been cancelled because we hadn't arrived by 6 pm. This information was not given to us on our reservation, nor was it found on the RRI website. With it being a Princeton Reunions weekend, every other hotel around was selling for $300 plus a night, which we were forced to pay for lack of another option. I'll be avoiding RRI in the future and am looking at my options legally.

I've been staying at this hotel on 2 to 3 days per week on average for well over 9 months straight. When I first started back in September 2021, the rooms were in the $120 to $140 range. Breakfast was free. the people were friendly and greeted me by name when I arrived. Then the breakfast went up to $12. Not terrible since I got a $10 food credit anyway. Recently, the breakfast went up to $15 and the continental breakfast was $10. So if I wanted coffee and a muffin it cost me$10?? The breakfast was ok, but I can definitely get a better breakfast for less at a diner. Now the rooms have been $199 and over for my past several stays. I can go not too far away and save $50 to $60 per night. I no longer get the personalized service due to employee turnover. Lost their good bartender, etc... At these rates, I won't be staying here any more. Its a shame because I work next door... Oh well.

Stayed here on a Saturday night by myself. Outside of hotel seemed fine. Lobby basic. Hallways seemed clean and immaculate. Room not so much. King room. Tight quarters. Bathroom was bright and had an exhaust for steam. Shampoo, lotion, and soap provided. Bathtub area was not clean enough for me. Did not shower! Bed and pillows were comfortable. Comforter torn, sheets had cigarette burn. Could have used a little more light in the room. Big fridge which was nice. Microwave as well. Furniture was chipped. Phone was gross. Curtain tracks stuck a bit. Desk chair had stain on the seat. Location convenient to everything.

I spent half an hour just to check in. I got to my room and I found a remodeled room but with only beds and a tv with no remote control in the room. When I came back I found old furniture in the room but no refrigerator and no microwave as it was advertised. Service personnel was friendly and try to do their best to get the room in better shape.

Subject: Mounts Motel Location: Lawrenceville, New Jersey, United States, North America Title: Strangest experience ever ID#: 252638642 Stopped here one night when we were exhausted thinking it was a Ma and Pa place with their advertisement for $39 rooms. 2 Hours later the management was shagging us out saying we'd only paid for 2 hours. After a slight kerfuffle with the management it was very clear to us just what sort of place this was! We have traveled thousands of miles both in the US and abroad and have never encountered this craziness. We're easy going and open minded about what folks do on their own time and dollar but this was bizarre. Can't imagine why they haven't been closed down.
