Reviewed By 454wendymWe knew nothing of this hotel when we booked our reservation. What caught my eye was the Old West look about it. Inside it is a Classic. Checked in at the little window next to the beautiful bar. Up the creaky steps. Warped floors Clean room. Compfy bed. Friendly staff. The owners should give this glorious Historical Hotel a spruce up not a redo

Good for roughing it
Reviewed By cherrydollHad a pleasant stay in a cabin. The only problems we encountered are the terrible Wi-Fi (you basically have to park right in front of KC Pepper to get any service and even then it's slow and unreliable) and the mattresses. The bunk bed mattresses are very thin and the mattress on the other bed was very firm. I did finally get to sleep but I woke up pretty sore & stiff. I don't know if I'd return because I have chronic back pain and the terrible mattresses are a deal breaker. For someone without any disabilities it might be alright. If you have back pain avoid!

A 50's motel
Reviewed By aparker2014Pleasant staff. Our room was clean, the bed and bedding decent, had a refrigerator but no microwave or coffee maker, the drain in the shower/bathtub didn't work well, no breakfast. This is a very old motel several steps down from a Comfort Inn. My wife suspects they may house low income families. At the price we paid (over $200 for 2 nights) you would only stay here if the location suited you and you couldn't find something better. But acceptable if that is your situation.

Last minute stay
Reviewed By Musiclovers1968While in Hawley for an event found traveling conditions very poor so decided to stay overnight. Not far from Hawley and a heck of a lot more affordable than Hawley area. Found Wayne On Main to be an unexpected surprise. Arrived late and was greeted with a warm welcome. House is very beautiful and hostess was lovely. We were very comfortable and felt right at home. I would recommend and we will definitely stay again.
