I was right across from the elevators , but surprisingly I didn’t really hear them opening & closing so that was a plus. I was please with the amenities & enjoyed the breakfast along with the pool/hot tub.

Reviewed By m mI've stayed here several times over the past few years. This past stay was rather disappointing on the service side. Globalist breakfast benefit was not honored. No one seemed to care. We reached out multiple times to the manager and asked for a callback to discuss our stay. Both requests went unanswered. I guess ignoring people is a common theme at this hotel. From now on, we will stay at other hotels who value their loyal members.

AC? Not for me
Reviewed By DadMDThis is a place you stay at for business. They are very nice but when Chicago is having a heat wave and the hotel AC works everywhere but your room… Asked for a repair but did nothing. Rooms are pretty much bare but functional. Shower dripped all night. But room was clean.

I originally planned on staying here for 7 days, but I extended my stay because of how “at home” she made me feel. Thank you, Alex, for all you do.

Ok place to stay if in Northern Chicago.
Reviewed By RyanM1296Stayed here while up in Chicago. Decent hotel in a nice area and very close to several tourist destinations in Chicago. Very clean and sanitized with a smooth check in. However, our AC unit was not working right and the guest next to us kept us up until 2:00am and hotel management never approached them about the noise. No free breakfast and had to pay for very little food. Ok hotel but will look for other options when up in Chicago again.

Fantastic long-term (or short-term) stay that feels like home!
Reviewed By shanszypThis is the first time our family has had a long-term hotel stay. We are one week in and I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience here! We have a 2-bed, 2-bath suite that very much feels like a home. I wish they had these everywhere we travel. I assume it has been renovated, but the updates were done well, especially the bathrooms. I have interacted with staff members from the front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping, and they have all been exceptional. Any small issue has been quickly taken care of in a kind, friendly manner. The place felt clean upon arrival and housekeeping did a fantastic job making it feel so fresh again on cleaning day. Oh, and everyone has been properly masked. There is a coin laundry, which I would prefer something that takes a card, but it gets the job done. Breakfast is limited, of course, but very well organized. This place is a perfect mix of old-school hospitality with some modern elements. The layout feels like a little village and even the other guests have been very friendly. I’m so, so glad we decided to go with Residence Inn due to location instead of our original Airbnb plan. I would drive even further to stay here. With the popularity of Airbnb, Marriott should really consider investing even more in this hotel model!
