I stayed here for an extended amount of time throughout the year and I have no complaints! The place was extremely clean and the owner was easily accessible if I needed anything (and super friendly). The water pressure was great and the water temperature warm. Each room has a bathroom and the shared space downstairs was nice for mingling with other guests, cooking, and eating. Sometimes it could get a bit noisy when the hotel was full, but it was nothing unreasonable. In the kitchen, guests usually have their own refrigerator and guests respected what food wasn't theirs. Basic cookware is available as well as a stove, oven, and a microwave. The location is very convenient, which is maybe a five or ten minute walk to the middle of town or Consum/Mercadona. It is also really close to the base of the castle. I highly enjoyed my stay here and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area!

We stopped on a Sunday evening at this stunning hotel. The friendly, helpful owners, have thought of everything to make a stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are beautiful, stylish and very comfortable, with excellent high quality beds and pillows. Everything you could wish for in a hotel room. An excellent shower room with a separate toilet. The Wifi was very good. We stayed in room 17, away from the pool area and would stay there again. There is a lovely, good sized pool with salt water and separate towels are provided in the room if you wish to swim. There is a restaurant on site, although it is not run by the owners. While we thoroughly enjoyed what we had it's a shame there wasn't more on offer for non meat/fish eaters. A very nice breakfast, with lots of choice, was provided by the owners. Highly recommended and we will definitely return!

This via ferrata can be found on Google Maps, but the start point is wrong. Park at this hotel in the shaded car parking area. Leave the CP and turn left, then take the first right and follow the Yellow / White and also Blue paint marks. This via ferrata is South facing, so in the intense heat, it’s a hot spot. The start is very steep / pumpy and doesn’t match its Grade 1, as reported on line. It’s well equipped throughout, but if you have kids or a nervous person, a short 25/30 meter rope will be handy as a top rope, just take two screw gates for the leader. There are good stances every 15 to 20 meters. The top out has a leftward trending traverse, again steep and pumpy. The walk off has two choices, descend the gully for a quick return to the hotel (20 minutes) or a 45 minute ridge walk alternative. We took this, it’s not well marked and we must have missed the turn off cause it took a lot longer than 45 minutes! The via is short, but enjoyable, I’d recommend it.
