B&B Il Casale Di Andrea E Simona

Un incubo

Reviewed By 53Marinos53

The "Canonica Dei Templari" is a charming property located in a large and romantic country house dating back from 1805, which is in Camino, in the hills of Monferrato sorrounded by a garden and orchard of 3000 mq. Thanks to a careful and respectful restoration it was possible to keep the original terracotta floors, the vaulted ceiling and the fireplace; these are all elements that help create and elegant and cozy atmosphere. Guest can expect 3 ample rooms with bathroom, a living room and a delightful porch. Breakfast, prepared by the hostess strictly with local ingredients, is served in the dining room and, in days of good weather, under the porch.Outside there is a building that houses the pleasant summer sitting room. During the year many classes are held: jewelry creation, flower arrangement (with special program during Christmas and Easter time), restyling of small furniture and preparation of jam with seasonal fruit. In addition, Irish dance workshops are held and management training courses are also hosted for individuals and private business. Guided tasting of local wines. The Canonica Dei Templari is one hour distant from Milan and Genova, 40 minutes from Turin and 45 minutes from Lago Maggiore

An unforgettable getaway

Beautifully restored farmhouse. Generous, kind, and interesting hosts who go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one. An idyllic setting. What more could one ask for? My boyfriend and I stayed for four nights over New Years. We stayed in the red room. We slept very well in the comfortable bed and enjoyed waking up to see the sun filled vineyards and hills outside our windows. The breakfast is top notch -- freshly sliced charcuterie and cheese, fresh baked bread and homemade jams. Paola and Doriano are terrific hosts. They share the farmhouse they have restored with you and they go out of their way to help you discover the area -- booking restaurants, providing walking recommendations, and sharing their knowledge of wines (they are both certified sommeliers). This is a rustic area, where you can discover Piemonte at its best and get to know the locals. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend a stay. We will definitely be back!

Very nice for low price

Stayed here 3 nights with my wife. + Nice staff + Nice Spa + Ok food in restaurant and very good home made wines. + Wine tasting was nice. A tip would be to wait for all people to come before starting for more discussion & to be more effective. + Pool with nice view. - By Scandinavian standards very simple breakfast. No vegetables, no berries. Only cheese, ham and jam to put on the dry bread. But nice with yoghurt and müsli. - Middle of nowhere. One restaurant in neighbour village and one small store for water etc.

AMAZING AND QUAINT B & B IN PIEDMONT REGION OF ITALY

THE Villa Maria B&B was such a memorable experience. My son got married at the Castillo de Camino in June and this is the closest place to stay. You can literally walk up to the castle. The rooms were very clean and linens and decor exceptional. The owner and her sister were amazing. They both were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was food from the area, sometimes different but also homemade and very good.. I highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again!
