Reviewed By justinbR7164BTThe Executive inn- located at 217 Waller Ave, Brookshire, TX 77423 is nothing to brag about. The hotel is located at I-10 & FM 359 at Exit 732. It sits right across from the flying j truck stop. The hotel is very old and outta date. They have no smoke detectors in the rooms. The fire extinguisher hasn't been inpeacted since 2009, this is 2021. Lady's and Gentlemen please don't stop at this hotel thinking your going to get a lot. The hotel DO NOT Horner, Military, AARP, Senior discount, nor C.D.L driver's. The room I was n wasn't all that good. The room I was in had mold and mildew in it. The room was very hot when I walked in. It took 2 hours for the room to cool down. Temperature in Texas has been above 100 degrees lately. The carpet is really old. The stuff in the rooms are dusty and deingy. Lamps are full of mold and mildew, the walls are the same way. The A/C hasn't been inpeacted are cleaned since the unit was installed. I really wish I could show more pictures. There was roaches in the bathroom and the bathtub.

Very good place to stay
Reviewed By emarti118172Overall very good experience. The property is very pretty, offers breakfast and good service. However, they need to improve a little in their pet friendly rooms cleanliness. If you have an emergency in the middle of Texas, this is a good place to stay.

However, it’s lacking in several areas. #1, it’s built next to a pallet yard where machinery runs all night. At first, I thought it may provide a nice hum to sleep to, but at 7:30 AM I was woken by a wheel loader repeatedly dumping its bucket. It was obvious that a shift had started next door, and there would be no more sleeping. Also, my bed trembled all night. #2, the hotel was relatively clean, but it’s in need of a deep cleaning; dirty baseboards, stained and sticky carpets, repairs needed on damaged walls and tiles in the bathroom. #3, There’s no hot breakfast. I think that’s the worst part for me because I was really looking forward to a hot breakfast, like the advertisement. If you are serving bakery items, oatmeal and cereal in the usual fashion, why not serve everything? This didn’t feel like a COVID issue. #4, The employee tending to the breakfast area was more concerned with charging and playing on her cell phone, than answering my questions. Not friendly or welcoming at all.

Reviewed By klutchjcRarely does one find a true home away from home. Tariq and Marie and the entire staff makes you feel like you have known them forever. I left my lights on in my truck.. Marie called me to tell me. I needed to find contractor help .. Tariq helped me. The rooms are spartan and very clean and tidy. Big screen tv, refrigerator,microwave.. perfect home away from home. Don’t waste money anymore!
